Here is my explanation of the Torry Holt pick: If you look at this guys stats he should be taken in the first two rounds of this draft. He has turned in 7 straight 1,000 yard season and is the model for consistency. He is only 30 years old which is only one year older than Randy Moss who was taken a whole round earlier. Holt has been much more impressive over the course of his career than people give him credit for and he is a top 5 receiver in the NFL.
Holt is awesome, and I think he is very underrated. I would rather have him than half of the other Wr's taken already.....great pick. He was one of the final few guys I was thinking about picking, but you took him right before me.
FINALLY Holt is gone. I just thought everyone forgot him. He should have been taken a long time before some of the other WR's taken. IMO
He is one of the best WR in the league and I'd say better than Andre Johnson,but when you're building a team youth can play a big part in who you draft. I love the Casey Hampton pick.I was thinking of taking him if Johnson had gone.
The only deterrent about Holt is his age but I think people sometimes put too much stock in potential and not enough in experience and productivity. Holt makes some amazing plays and he never drops it.
