Ten selects OT Jammal Brown of the saints.
In my personal opinion,Brown is the best young tackle in the league and can lay either right or left tackle. In only his second year he's made the pro bowl and I reckon he's going to many more in the future. This pick could been seen as a slight reach but I felt it was important to get a franchise tackle in the first 3 rounds.

Jonathan Vilma selects John Henderson DT from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

A mammoth of a man that will play next to Julius Peppers.

I went back and forth on this one. I thought passing on a true pass rusher may bite me in the ass. TCMC takes:

I have a feeling I might get a lot of grief about this pick, but he is a great, young RB who got the job done all season.

    Joseph Addai

I select QB Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers.

In his first season as a starter, he went 14-2, leading his team to the playoffs with fantastic statistics and a Pro Bowl selection as well. You might say, "Anyone can be amazing with Tomlinson and Gates on their team" but can they really? Look at Drew Brees the last 2 years:

    Code:
Year Team G GS Att Comp Pct Yds YPA Lg TD Int Tkld 20+ 40+ Rate
    2005 San Diego Chargers 16 16 500 323 64.6 3576 7.15 54 24 15 27/223 46 4 89.2
    2006 New Orleans Saints 16 16 554 356 64.3 4418 7.97 86 26 11 18/105 61 18 96.2
His stats are better without the Tomlinson/Gates duo then with them. Philip Rivers is a very good QB, and at 25 I think he's a steal.

    Roy Williams, WR

Put up some of the best numbers of any WR in the game, and combined with Carson Palmer, could create a Peyton/Harrison type connection.

Plus, at only 25, chances are he will play at a high level for another 8+ years

    I select QB Eli Manning

Going for best available and gambling passing on a QB now would really screw me later if I did

    Laurence Maroney, RB

Probably a little bit of a reach at this spot, but he is a guy that I think has the power to run it through the middle, and speed to break it to the outside. At only 22, him, Carson, and Roy will be the cornerstone of my offense for a long time.

    WR Anquan Boldin

Total package, hands, tough, deceptively fast. And a beast after the catch.
