This is for silent scream. I was at a big music festival working backstage yesterday when my mate points out some guy in tight jeans and girls shoes. I say what about him, he says it's the My Chemical Romance guitarist. So me being the anti-MCR dickhead I am, I shout "You're a emo fag that can't play". My mate looked at me shocked, I thought I was going to have security on me seeing this was at his trailer, but he kinda just huffed and puffed and walked away. And that's my story of conquering a member of MCR.

You bastard! You've probably just given him inspiration to write an entire album as he's undoubtedly crying in a corner somewhere.

On a more metal note I think Necrophagist is a good vocalist away from being a truly amazing band. I doubt what's-his-name ever gives up vocalist duties though.

I never liked pitch-shifting, it's a total cop out IMO and pretty much anybody can do it.

So, I got my hands on an interview with Necrobutcher earlier today. Does anyone know... is it true that a good majority of the Norwegian churches that were burned were actually pagan churches, that had nothing to do with Christianity, that had actually been there before Christianity? Cause thats what Necrobutcher said in the interview. And if its true... good Lord... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Holy fuck! This has gotta be like the coolest black metal band ever! I love the whole Middle Eastern influence thing in extreme metal. The vocals remind me a little too much of Angela Gossow, but I got over that pretty quick. That song 'Rebirth of the Nemesis' is killer.

I agree on the style elements. It's a different sound, but I like it. Gossow's vocals seem a bit similar, but I love her style. It's tough to put into words, but the vocals just have a kick to them, but maybe it's just me. Anyway, that first song really emphasizes the Middle eastern sound. 'Of Mercury and Mercury' is my favorite of those up there. They've got some cool album artwork as well.

Man, that show is full of old school metal references, I have to watch each episode twice.

Did you catch the Carpathian Forest reference in Nathan's GED episode? 1028 pointed it out to me.

I've actually only watched about 10 of the episodes but I'll be watching the rest today. I'll look for it.

One of the creators is Brendon Small, the guy that did the Home Movies show on CN which was also freaking hilarious. I read some internet article about how he writes and records all of the music in the show. I could tell watching Home Movies that he was a metalhead with some of the references and characters, but I didn't know he was so much of one that he would create such an awesome homage to metal.
