You have a mediocre at best QB, a bad HC, a byunch of whiners, your secondary stinks, you lose your best player, Burress' head is going to explode, you don't have a #2 WR, your OL is average. BUT for the 2nd time in 3 years you will only have to play 7 road games so that should help and maybe the league can find an extra home game again for you too?

I think that Manning's primary reaction to this was one of relief, not joy, and that's what came through.
he had SB caliber teams in jax and never made it, his team only made it b/c the NFC was so weak. That giants team is a talented bunch, they should be competing for NFC titles in the weak NFC instead of going out in the WC rd, put our '01, '02 or '04 team in the NFC in thos years and we have at least 1 SB run.
