This is all contingent upon Adam Carriker. If he is there at 25 then this plan goes out the window. If he is gone then this is what I am thinking. The Jets trade their pick #25 to the Minnesota Vikings for their 41st (round 2) and 72nd pick (round 3). This would ultimately give us a total of 5 picks for the first 3 rounds.

    #37- Anthony Spencer
    #41- Ryan Macbean
    #58- Tony Hunt
    #72- Josh Beekman
    #88- Josh Wilson

    Thoughts?

Tony Hunt will be a 2nd round pick probably. No way we get him at 72. I haven't looked at the draft enough yet to properly evaluate everyone else.

You may also have to swap Beekman and McBean--I think Beekman will be gone before the third round, and McBean may still be around. I like both players.

I would definetely trade down. First round picks always get a lot of money and the more first day picks you have the better chance you have of getting solid players.

I think this is a more realistic trade down this one with tampa bay, i see quentin moses falling in that late first round, but since he wont last at their pick they trade with us.They have 2 2nd rounders just like us so they trade their #36 and #68 for our #25.

    #36-WR-Dwayne Bowe/Sidney Rice/Robert Meachem-WR
    #38-CB-Marcus McCauley/Daymeion Hughes-CB
    #57-OLB-LaMarr Woodley/Anthony Spencer-OLB
    #63/#64-S- Brandon Meriweather/Eric Weedle-S
