I'll close this after we reach 20, unless someone can convince me to get more (my reasoning is listed in a post above). If there's any extra after that, they can tell me and if someone is failing to make picks then I'll let them jump in right away (which there will likely be one or two, as there is in all drafts as I've learned). Rules (again, if you disagree with them speak up and we'll argue now instead of during the draft) -6 hour clock -Clock does not count from 12 AM to 8 AM ET (gotta let people sleep) -Draft order snaked (1-20 in odds, 20-1 in evens) and will be decided randomly when the 20 spots are full (I'll need the help of 2 others to do it) -Pick all 24 starting positions (unless it's going well, then we'll do more) -Can use a 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE or 1 RB, 2 WR, 2 TE set, and a 4-3 and 3-4 defense (anything else may not be realistic, but if you want something else don't be afraid to ask the other 19 members if it's allowed) -Pick players based on how they are today, and look at their potential for next year as well as many, many years from now. Take durability and injury-prone players into account -Players that did not play in '06 due to injury are eligible -I'd love to involve a salary cap, but am not sure where I'd get a good site listing all the cap #'s. And btw, can 2 people try to be on here at around 9:30 (don't necessarily have to be in the draft) and we can get the draft order. Here's an explanation of the process. I assign all 20 teams to a number 1-20, and I send this assigned list to Person A. Then, Person B posts the numbers 1-20 in a random order. Then, whoever is assigned to each number will take that spot. I have given Person A the list so no one can accuse me of changing the assigned numbers list after seeing the numbers. For example: The list I and Person A have: 1. Bob 2. Billy 3. Sally 4. Chad 5. Eric Mangini and Person B posts: 4 2 5 3 1 Then the order is: 1. Chad 2. Billy 3. Eric Mangini 4. Sally 5. Bob 6. Bob 7. Sally etc.
