It was reported but not official til now. Picking up a 4th is nice. Makes it easier to get back into the end of the 2nd or anywhere in the 3rd.
Definitely did not know this, since historically Jets have not gotten any. The key is making sure they can find some gems in the 4th round.
Who were the players lost that got them those picks? I'm used to seeing the last 2 picks in the 7th round
probably get more next year right? we've lost a lot this offseason. Williams, Simpson, AVT, Clemons, Folk,
I hope we don't. Because if we do, it will be because we didn't sign compensating FAs to this year's team. We need players, and we should sign them.
Wont be much. We’ve handed out some money between Ossai, Enagbare, Davis and the dude from falcons I can’t spell. We’ve probably handed out more than we’ve lost honestly. The formula is based on APY.
I agree there. Just on rough math: Total APY of guys we brought in is $66 mil Guys that left, $37 mil So we’re significantly over and probably will add to that total.
Wow. How the heck did that happen? I will gladly take it. Not for nothing, at least it makes draft weekend interesting
but last year how were we under with the large Fields contract and the large Stephens contract? Were getting 2 comp picks for Reed and Moses who in no way got larger contracts than Fields and Stephens
Reed got $16 mil a year Moses got $8 mil a year The two you’re forgetting, and rightfully so, is somehow Javon Kinlaw making $15 mil a year and Reddick making $14 mil
The Reed pick was lowered and the Javon Kinlaw comp pick was erased, we would have gotten a 3 for Reed apparently. Echols and Ashtyn picks were erased by Myers and Cisco.
