Pittsburgh guard Seumalo for that plan?

I wouldn't rule out drafting Ioane at 16 though instead

I think you stay away from drafting a guard high again. We have two big draft investments at tackle and I think they need a veteran somewhere along the line to really solidify the line.

Linderbaum at center would be awesome.

Has there been any "scuttlebutt" about Linderbaum yet? That's one name I've not heard a ton about, so far, in so much as traction to other teams.

I'd really like Chase Bisontis (Texas A&M guard) at 44.

Linderbaum went to Vegas for 3/81m. Would have been nice to have a vet center.

Looking like Oline might be within first 4 picks since we made trade for safety and a few D line signings. We def have options now

Hearing AVT doesn't want to be a Jets anymore. Saying he needs a fresh start. Considering how much we paid him just to rehab i think its bullshit on his part

It's a gyp for the fans, but if I try to put myself in his shoes I can't blame him for feeling like he's jinxed here. Health and good fortune to him.

I just hope the Jets knew that coming into FA because they lost John Simpson and haven’t signed a guard.

Other wise I’m glad he wants to move on. We can’t rely on the guy.

Simpson was bad last year. The worst player on the line. I wouldn’t want him back regardless. It does seem a little strange that AVT is the one sick of us when all we’ve done is pay for him to get healthy for four years. Not sure what the solution is though, I don’t think we want to be relying on a rookie to start day one. And I’d really love to not sink a first round pick into the offensive line one of these years.

I don't think Mauigoa is totally out of the running.

Where though? I don’t think he makes it past KC or Cincinnati at 9/10ish.

Bad or not, he was still our starting guard last year.

I really think being content with the interior is a mistake. The chances of every one making every start again next year is also miniscule.

If we use our second first rounder on that guard I could live with that.

Ugh…I would hate that…I think that pick needs to be WR assuming one of the top three guys are there. I would hate using a first rounder on a guard.
