here is something else that literally happened a short while ago,,,,,Brook look away now and read no more ---------The NWS expanded their blizzard warnings farther north n west and they increased snow amounts in those areas as well,,,,,,,,,so what is it that the pros are seeing that others who hate snow are gleeful while looking at those meso models I told you about are NOT ? Could be the HRRR model which is good at this time and has the storm trending west but I am not sure exactly why or what they are basing that off of,,,,,,,,,at times like this I miss FJAY and the Jayster more than ever ,,,,for now that is all

Brook first off no need to THANK ME as I enjoy this stuff because I am in my element killing 2 birds with one stone as I get to show off my avatar and talk about snow now back to your questions = In simple terms Brook, and this is from one boob ( you ) to another boob ( me ) ,,,,,ALLOW ME TO QUOTE Oprah " I get crushed, you get crushed, we all get crushed " and yes Cman you are still looking down the barrel ------- there will be ridiculous heavy bands that will setup in locations North n West but throw a dart as I don't know where they will be,,these bands will over perform and get real heavy snow amounts,,,,,,,,as far as your flying Monday ,,,,,,if I had to guess I would say you wont be,,,,,,,,,,,ps many models show this system stalling and crawling so I am not sure yet when it ends,,,,,,,,and in other news we literally have a blizzard on the way and it will effect much of this forum and this thread is dead,,,,,,,,,,oh how times have changed

Brook, sorry this IMO will NOT be a bust as the snow is already piling up in many places ---the HRRR model shows the snow ending around 3 pm give or take,,,,,,,it will really come down between 1 am and 7 am again give or take,,,,,,,,,have you spoken to the airline about your flight as they may have already cancelled it
I just went outside to measure I have 4 inches here but I have friends in South Jersey who have 6, 8 and 9 inches and I hear LI is getting pounded,,,,,,,snow should get cranking by me around 1 am
9.2" of snow here in the Lower Hudson River Valley, still coming down. No garbage pick up today, emergency personnel allowed on the roads only. My cousin in LI got hit hard. Looks like some parts of NJ and most of RI & LI got it the worst??? I went food shopping for the week at 6:30 am yesterday morning long before the snow started and also to avoid crowds. It was pretty empty, alright. All of the animals wiped out most of the store the day before.
