I'm personally stunned that people let themselves believe Leonhard was coming here. Sometimes its your own fault.
Personally, I don't know what you are bitching about. Exactly "what" football related would you rather be discussing? Would it be the draft, to DOOM young players to this fucking nightmare.....................or.................. Would it be philosophical discussions around how these DOOMED players will be coached or what type of offense/defense they'll be running? Please, by all means, pony up. NONE of that matters when there is NO coaching staff, top to bottom. Sorry, special teams isn't a topic at the moment. Go for it, I'm waiting for some fantastical discussion to take place when there is Z-E-R-O coaches in the building.
https://x.com/nyjets/status/2016221599700074864 Glenn interviewed Brian Duker from Miami, pass game coordinator. Crossed path with Glenn in Detroit. 36 years old. This is a type of hire where I think Glenn would call plays. May be the best case scenario now that JL is not an option.
Did Jim Leonard come here for a 2nd interview? Is he going to? Is it official that JIm is the Bills DC? The link above says he is a candidate
Doesn't look like he did. Connor Hughes mentioned he was never a realistic option, didn't really want the job. Now linked to the Bills. Wink though came in with the thought to be hired. Connor thinks Glenn wanted to call plays and for Wink to be the DC without calling plays, which Wink did not want to do, so they pivoted. Another theory is that Woody didn't want to pay both Wink and Reich. I think calling plays part makes more sense, but who knows, it could be some combination of both. It is a real shit show now. Personally though I never wanted Wink, so it is not a big loss, better for Glenn to call plays himself.
