Yeah ... What could have been. I will be cheering for him to get rid of the ghosts once and for all. Just too bad it's not with the Jets.

I wouldn't expect them to be. That's for guys who didn't prove it on the field all season long. Bain has already cemented his status as a top 10 pick.

I know Bain originally planned to attend. His agent probably talked him out of it for the injury risk …

Yeah makes no sense for guys like him. Only potential injury downside.

Jeremiah’s latest mock has us going Reese at 2 then Tate at 16 which seems almost impossible. Also has Bain falling to 9 which seems equally as impossible. But man would that be a homerun.

Tate at 16 would be slam dunk and I doubt he will be there, but I am VERY worried about Reese over Bain or Bailey. The disruptive production from the pass rush was just not there, it is a projection. Bailey and Bain disrupted way more last year, especially Bailey. Reese situation reminds more of Trayvon Walker, a 6 sack guy who went over Hutch based on athleticism and projection. Not the same prospect, I understand but at a high level, give me Bain or Bailey at 2.

If you see how JSN plays out there and fuck Joe Douglas for not taking him btw...I cant see people passing on Tate in top 10. Ohio State WRs are so good

JD failed Sam by giving him the worst supporting cast in NFL history AND drafted McD over JSN, whom most of the fan base wanted. What an absolute shit of a GM.

Sam had the worst coaches and support with this franchise. He needed help around him and never got it, he was my fav qb we drafted and I was hopeful he would be here a long time but this team failed him and he was just nowhere being ready.

Sometimes timing and development matters. Look at them now...Leonard Williams and Sam Darnold, cornerstone Jets at one time are one win away from winning the Super Bowl.

Straight up sucks, hope Woody goes to bed knowing he is a clown owner and everyone calls him that too

I challenge anyone to find a young QB, who had his top WR1, TE1, and RB1 get 307 total yards for the rest of their careers combined, with two of the 3 being in their prime still. Plus shit OL to boot. Yet this is what JD surrounded Sam with. Sam had it bad before, but JD made his supporting case historically laughable to the point it is hard to comprehend.

For a period we all were rooting and fans of JD, we misled and misguided. His previous tenure with Eagles and Ravens got us excited and hopeful but he made boneheaded moves every time

Why would we do that? Reese could be worse than what we already have. It makes no sense to try and upgrade players seeing as it might get worse. I mean, if you can apply this absurd logic to coaching you might as well apply it to the entire roster.

Reese and Tate would be an awesome draft, too good to be true tbh.

I can see Bain falling though. The arm length is going to scare off a lot of teams. I like Bain and his tape is great but he's an immense outlier if his arms are as short as people think. He also was a pretty inefficient pass rusher. It took him a lot of snaps to get his sacks.

I saw a tweet yesterday that said Douglas was debating between Becton and Henry Ruggs. He had Ruggs rated above Lamb. Didn't have a first round grade on JSN, Zay Flowers, or Addison. Just unfathomable how a professional GM could have such an awful eye for WR talent.

The fact he's still getting GM interviews is insane. His PR team deserves a medal.

I for sure was in that boat…I was excited when we hired him because after the debacles of hiring first Idzik and then MacCagnan, both of whom were WTF candidates out of the blue, I was happy we finally got a guy with the right resume in two good front offices with Baltimore and Philly. And then when he talked about his philosophy I was 100% on board…prioritize high value positions, OL, DL, etc. After watching Mac flounder around with zero strategy on how to build a team, wasting high picks on positions like safety and DT, and of course passing on Mahomes and Watson because he had just drafted Hackenberg, well man JD was like a godsend.

We had no way of knowing how bad his drafting would turn out to be…if not for that one year (and I’ll give him credit for it) with Sauce, GW, JJ, and Hall, he would be one of the worst drafting GMs we’ve ever had, on par with the Idzik’s and Mac’s of the world…throw in Bradway also for good measure.

But yeah…he had me fooled for sure.

Watched about a hour of film on David Bailey and I’m loving this kid. His story is awesome too. He reminds me so much of Von Miller. He has an arsenal of pass rush moves, literally saw him use 6 different moves for sacks. His first step is fast, he’s got bend, power, agility and is a relentless finisher. Saw him spin past OT like he was Allan Iverson lol, bull rush, speed rush, delay rush, stutter rush and dip n rip. It’s impressive.

He’s also very intelligent graduating from Stanford and transferring to TT for a chance at a Natty. I think he can play both as a 4-3 DE and a 3-4 OLB. Watching him he’s just so fast, smart at setting up OT, incredibly strong for 250 pounds as he plays like he’s 270. His bend is also very good.

The only negative I saw was a few times when the tackle got squared up on him they were able to take him out the play. However, it came when he’d been on the field for 5+ snaps.

I’m really impressed. That combination of FBI, strength, speed, agility, stamina and love for the game doesn’t come often. He has the smarts to pass rush in any D whether a 4-3 or 3-4. Where I feel Bain is a pure 4-3 DE and Reese is a 3-4 OLB or a 4-3 Will LB.

Im on the Bailey bandwagon big time looking at his film as a whole as I did Reese and Bain.

Applying your logic of wanting to keep Glenn as coach.

    Two things:

-I’ve said twice today alone I’d have been fine if Glenn was fired

    -you shockingly missed the point
