Or draft the talent and let him sit like a real franchise would do. There's no guarantee that they will be able to draft a qb worth a damn next year. Draft capital is nice but you need a draft partner in 27 . I don't think moore is a can't miss. But I think he is a nfl level qb. With the right grooming and coaching, he's Caleb Williams
It's so hard to think this way though if you're DM. Sure, they have 3 first round picks. You still need a dance partner if you need to move up. I don't think indy or Dallas will be very good next year, but who the hell knows. Imagine. The Jets go 6-11. Finish with the 10th pick in the draft. Indy plays Dallas in the SB. Jets now have the 10, 31, 32 picks. Is that enough to get a "top" QB? Who, btw? Manning is going #1. After that? Who is the surefire can't miss qb prospect?
I know the ‘27 class is deeper. Manning, Sayin, Raiola, Sorsby off the top of my head…. Nothing is guaranteed though you’re right about that. We don’t know where those other first round 2 picks end up. The Jets may also take a flier this year in the mid rounds who surprises you never know …
I don't know if there is anything called "bust proof" but Mendoza will not bust at all. At worst he is average to slightly below average.
That’s basically Alex smith isn’t it? Average to above average nothing special so that comparison is on par
Mendoza operates the offense with incredible poise. He knows where the ball needs to go at all times. He does not have elite physical gifts but he does not panic and he can make every throw on the field.
But it's fine since the NYJ have a patient organization and fan base. /s Boring but effective. He's also very smart about when he uses his legs. Not an elite runner by any means. But the guy just moves the chains. I was hoping for some reason to believe in Simpson. I am not seeing it at all.
That Indiana-Oregon game will be the defacto natty title game. It's a shame they have to meetup in the semis. The B10 has been the best conference all season. Love watching them spank these SEC boys.
Disagree. Georgia should be the favorite right now and still have the best coach in the country until proven otherwise.
Not this year. Legacy votes don't matter. This season both Indiana and Oregon have better all around teams than Georgia. Their offenses are both superior to UGA. Furthermore, the B10 has pretty much dominated bowl season and outperformed the SEC. Hell, Alabama already beat Georgia this year and the Hoosiers are boat racing the Tide.
