Less than 100 hours left in this years edition of the Perpetual Death Pool and there does not appear to be any pending additions to our score card. Once the new years roll in we'll be starting up our 2026 edition, anyone else that would like to join get your picks ready. As always it will be a snake draft, new competitors will be first in the draft, followed by our current contestants in reverse finish order. We'll go alphabetically for those of you who got shut out this year. Generally you are allowed 10 hours for your pick but we are lenient in that regard. You can replace any of your current picks or if you have open slots you can add them there. Rules: You get points based on the age of the person you select should they die, for example Charlie Sheen is 50 years old, you would subtract 50 from 100 and that leaves you with 50 points. Martin Sheen is 75, you would subtract 75 from 100 and that leaves you with 25. You get 10 extra points for the first qualifying death, 10 extra points for a suicide and 20 extra points if murdered. The person selected must be a celebrity, politician or athlete. No terrorists, no people on death row and no animals. There would be a panel of myself and another 2 posters who were interested in being an admin to determine whether or not the selected person qualifies as a celebrity. For example nobody knows who the drummer of some crappy band is but everyone knows who the drummer of Def Leppard is. Obviously these things are subjective which is why I would have 2 other posters to help judge. You will get 7 picks, the pool will start on January 1, 2026 and end on December 31, 2026. If your pick kicks it before the end of the round you will get another pick at the end of that current round, all picks for a current round become active after the last pick of that round. Roll over picks from 2025 are active immediately at the start of the 2026 Death Pool. The 2025 winner announcement will be made soon, feel free to send me your tributes or risk me picking you for 2026.

The 2026 Edition of The Perpetual Death Pool is upon us. The draft order is below, keeping FJF in there but he has not been active for almost 3 years but he could come back any time. If you are on either side of him during the draft we will pass over him.
