The way the Jets have been playing I really NEED to believe that they are tanking on purpose. I have no illusions that this is not one of the worst rosters in football but my God, they look worse every week. Even with a roster overhaul, what is the reason to believe going into next year?
It's very important to remember that we (as a fanbase) were too good for Rex Ryan (and Jon Gruden, and Aaron Rodgers, and Devonte Adams, and Sam Darnold). We deserve Aaron Glenn.
This is the worst Jet team since Kotite Keep Mougey, but Glenn has to go. He was not ready for the HC job.

At this point, I'm VERY angry with Vrabel. That score should have had a 7-something in it. Noooooo...pansy boy had to shut down his WHOLE team! I wanted a score so bad that even our moronic players couldn't celebrate a dumb ass tackle or useless pass deflection. Glenn has not proved he deserves another year at HC. Depends on what you're willing ot believe doesn't it... Believe this team will be a contender? No Believe this team will make some miracle transition into a respectable NFL football team? No. Believe what you saw this year will be what you'll see next year? Probably..

Yep. I see players on NE no one has ever heard of making plays. And one name we did hear: Leonard Taylor, whom we waived. We cannot make roster coach proof, such thing does not exist. Maybe Howie Roseman came close, but really, you need a coach who will elevate players. Glenn made players we already had worse.
Per Cimini, the 2025 Jets currently have the worst December point differential in NFL history. In NFL HISTORY!!!! Glenn even questioned the effort in the post game presser. He is not cut out for this.
Glenn may not be worse than Gase, but he certainly isn’t clearly better. He brings nothing to the table as he NEVER was a good defensive mind; the majority of his tenure at DC his teams were awful defensively. The whole myth of the “Lions way” and “Lions culture” can finally die too (not that anyone should have bought into it anyway). Turns out that without the elite OL and elite OC they are just a mediocre non playoff team.
Woody has to see that a change is needed at this point. A stadium full of Patriots fans chanting MVP for the Patriots QB. A coach that admits the team didn't have great effort today. A team that has shown zero improvement over the course of the season and has, in fact, regressed in almost every area. If we stay the course on this, we're giving up on 2026 before it even starts and throwing away the 1st round picks that we acquired for this upcoming draft.
If Glenn has any respect for the fanbase he resigns. Anything less he should get the label of a conman or a scammer and just a bad human being.
He stands on the sidelines with a blank stare shaking his head much of the time. He doesn't even dance down the sideline anymore. He looks defeated.
