I firmly believe the league is better when the Jets and Giants are good. Irrelevant this year

Obviously I’m biased there but in general there are 2 games to go and all the playoff spots are said for? WTF is this? So boring.

I cant imagine its healthy for the sport to have irrelevant weeks of games with half the teams tanking and the other half resting

Giants-Raiders game and Steelers-Browns game are saving my NFL Sunday. Also a good Bills-Eagles match up along with a nice 49ers-Bears game on tap as well for me.

this is the problem the NFL has given itself by becoming so QB focused - if you don't have a good QB then you are pretty much screwed and there are only at most a dozen people capable of playing the position well so you have teams with a good QB walking into the playoffs and everyone else treading water, losing lots of games and waiting to somehow land one.

The product the NFL puts out these days leaves a lot to be desired.

But they're making money and the ratings are there apparently that's all they care about.

If you didn’t have money on any games or fantasy implications this week was garbage. But all in all it ended up being decently entertaining.

Agreed though. The playoff implications since basically Thanksgiving have been minimal. Most of the teams in have been in the drivers seat.

Bears pick off Purdy's first pass on the first play of the game and run it in...

    15 secs. in and it's 7-0 Bears.

The NFL is particularly weak this year. There's seven teams with 4 wins or less, and none of the playoff teams are particularly dominant. Many of the top stars have underperformed this year; guys like Saquon Barkley, Justin Jefferson, Josh Allen, AJ Brown, Lamar Jackson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and of course Patrick Mahomes, have not had anything close to career years. There hasn't really been many historic highlight plays or memorable games. 2025 has just been forgettable.
