Agreed. The reason for Keyshawn wearing 19 was because all the 80s were taken while he was in training camp; once cuts were made, he was supposed to switch to one of the open 80 numbers after cuts were made and he was on the active, regular season roster. But being the egomanic he is, he wanted to keep the 19 to stand out among receivers and the NFL said, "Sure, what the hell?" I mean, I've been used to WRs wearing 10-19 since Keyshawn, and I understand that most teams have already retired many of the 80s range numbers, so I don't have a huge issue with it. But I think the numbering system needs to go back to the way it was before 2021: 1-19: QBs, Ks, and Ps; 20-49 for RBs and DBs; 10-19 and 80-89 for WRs; 40-49 and 80-89 for TEs; 60-79 for OL; 50-59, 70-79, and 90-99 for DL, and 50-59 and 90-99 for LBs. This free-for-all of allowing guys to wear whatever number they want because they insist on wearing their college number is making things confusing.
It’s a shame there’s nothing he could do to influence what is going on with it. ..,Oh, wait a second.
Cook has 3 picks in 1 1/2 games. He throws more this one could end 50something Jags to whatever the Jets can muster up.
Cook looks like he can be a decent backup or third string option next year. Ideally the Jets will draft a QB, bring in a vet backup, and have Cook as the third string. He throws too many picks tho.
It could kill Cook's confidence. And make him look like a loser turnover machine. They have to keep the offense balanced. Hall is the offensive team MVP. YES of course they have to pass the football now to have any chance to even make it close but must remain balanced. It'd help if the defense could get some turnovers they score or set up easy scores for the offense.
I'm late the the party (aka the weekly funeral...) . Glad I didn't miss much, except it appears the Jets now have dyslexia LOL 31-13
Can't really judge him under Glenn's and Egstrams development, every Qb we put in there this year looked like absolute dogshit. Justin Fields is bad but not this bad. He is also throwing to scrubs who would be 3rd or 4th receivers on other teams.
I don’t know how Glenn can escape consequences after this season. It’s one thing to not have talent. It’s another to look bad in almost all facets of the game in every game. You can have lesser talent and still play hard. You can’t convince me that this team plays hard. One turnover ALL SEASON? Come on
how the hell is there a player open every single down for a chunk play, I mean its almost impossible in the nfl. Nice halftime adjustments bozos.
If you can't even cover anybody, why not send a jailbreak blitz every other play or so? At least put the Jags in fear of their franchise QB's safety as they head to the playoffs.
If you’re watching this game and still think we should throw away any of our picks to get a QB, you must be drinking more than usual. If we’re not the first pick, trade back and get as many high rated defensive players as you can.
