Right “I’m being logical and you’re being emotional” isn’t trying to send a message at all. Enjoy being mad when your favorite team does something good. Doesn’t sound logical. Sounds more emotional IMO.

For the record I don’t care how you root. But being shocked that pro athletes are trying to win pro sports games never seems all that logical to me. And that’s all I’m saying.

You are definitely being emotional. lol. Relax and enjoy the win you wanted.

As far as the Jags, they won a division, they had a play-off home game, won one, and now lead division again. I would like to experience that as well and then go from there vs what we have been dealing with.

The way it’s coming off is “we only won because of special teams there’s no actual reason to be happy about this” especially when he goes on to point out everything that went wrong.

At the end of the day, who cares. No one knows what Mendoza is. We DO know that most good QBs were not taken first overall or were even the first QB taken. Logic vs emotion comes into play here too.

No desire to get into a “u mad bro?” pissing contest as an adult in the year 2025. Sorry we won.

I predicted a win and they got one - it is more and more clear that with a good QB this team could at least get to a winning record even if not much further - just a shame a good QB is the singlest hardest thing to land (especially for the Jets) but it is the key missing ingredient.

Winning is not really a big deal - the Titans and Saints are unlikely to win another game all season and must be locks for the top picks.

Like I said, all good. You wanted a win, you got it, be happy. It would have been nice to get a better pick, ideally with similar offensive performance by AD, but without muffed punt by them, but I am not very upset about the meaningless win either. Hopefully we will find a way to get a good QB anyway, though it is harder now. We have to find a way. I get the high of a victory, but for me it is now all about the QB for next year.

Breece Hall said he felt like a “decoy” on offense today.

“I knew we were going to air it out today because they were hanging their hat on stopping the run game. So I was playing decoy watching everybody else. So I was like — hopefully we win.”

really not a fan of this from Breece. “Oh you think you can win without using me heavily? Good luck with that”. Not a great look… you had 20 carries, hell of a decoy. Especially when you get this from Garrett:

It’s been better but that team is winning in spite of him right now and they’re stuck with him similar to Tua.

The irony is this fanbase would be calling for his head on a spike if we were the Jags

The Saints need a QB though, while the Titans pick will cost us A LOT more with each win.

Is he that bad now that they are winning in spite of him? I really wanted Liam Coen as a coach too, but still they are #12 ranked on offense, which is a dream territory for us. Also, maybe Moore or Mendoza will be better than Lawrence in the NFL. I am afraid we won't get either one of them or will need to pay arm and a leg. We need a solution at the QB. I know a later round pick does not work, there is too much evidence to contrary I have already researched and provided. Some way we need to get a good QB. And outside of having top few picks (does not have to be #1, but close) I do not see an obvious higher probability way.

Before today, they’ve been outgained by 400 yards for the year. They’re 6th in the league in interceptions thrown, but 2nd in the league in defensive interceptions. They’ve been very good at taking the ball away, but Lawrence has not been good whatsoever if you watch him play and the poor turnover numbers reinforce that.

His numbers were boosted today against the worst team in the league and to their credit they’re winning games.

But, Brook, winning is never meaningless, particularly with a new regime. If you couldn't see or feel the overall difference today, you were probably still recovering from too much to eat and drink over Thanksgiving. I'm not saying it was perfect (see OL penalties) but they created some breaks today and were in the game from the start to the last kick squeaking in.

Just arrived from business trip Friday and I am still jet lagged. No drinks today. Just the fatigue. Happy that some of you guys are happy honestly. But I am upset for screwing our draft position. :)

The fatal flaw here is that you apparently are equating an "earlier pick" with a "better pick".

At this point they need to keep winning games and getting better and making good decisions. Hoping for draft position is what you do when the CS is dog whipped and on the way out. If the Jets end up with a top 5 pick, it probably doesn't matter who they select because it's a sign that the team is still going nowhere.

Part of this fan base suffers from some type of NFL Stockholm Syndrome. The jets either need to make the playoffs or be the #1 pick and everything in between, after being losers for 15 plus years, is awful.

You know my stance. I HOPE they win out. I want to be so far down the board that even our crack team of Front Office Fools aren't tempted to trade up and pick a QB in this QB starved draft.

Great team win- crazy what competent QB play can get you.

Glenn was a little iffy managing the clock towards the end of the game, but I like what I am seeing from the overall group

    Lets keep building!!
