A team cannot advance a muffed punt because the receiving player never established possession, so it is not considered a fumble. According to football rules, if the kicking team recovers the ball, they retain possession but cannot advance it; the ball is spotted at the point of recovery.
We want/need a true WR1, and there will (hopefully) come a point where it gets a lot more clear from the rose colored glasses pov that GW isn't going to be that every down difference maker guy even with better QB play. So yeah, Team Weapon 2026/27
Absolutely, because that is a fumble. A muff is not officially a fumble (a fumble is a loss of possession after a player has established possession of the ball, while a muff is an unsuccessful attempt to gain possession). I definitely knew this rule, yet when he rolled into the end zone, my first thought was "Touchdown!", before I reminded myself that it actually wouldn't be one. It is definitely something that happens reasonably often, yet people don't realize what the rule is.
