Yeah, and who shattered his confidence, the New York Jets, that's who. Sam Darnold is a CLASSIC example of a franchise destroying what they had. It's funny, I've read folks talk about his stats when he was here. I think I'd rather hear it said, "Sam Darnold's stats are "X" BECAUSE he was on the NY Jets, not in spite of." You want to know another phrase I'm tired of hearing, "he was drafted by the previous regime and the new staff has no ties." Mother fucker, the NY jets, as an organization, has ties. It is a resource that was USED to bring a guy in to the organization. Sick of hearing these coaching staffs shit on guys because "they didn't draft them." Weakest fucking excuse ever floated.
I know I've posted this elsewhere, but given all of the available options, I'd like to see the Jets sign Kyle McCord off of Philadelphia's practice squad and play him for the second half of the season. I thought he was the second best QB in the draft this year.
He's only 24.. I can see that being an advantage from a maturity standpoint. 74" tall is the bare minimum for modern QBs though. That in itself should rule out Kyler Murray.
HELL NO to Murray I want no part of that dude…he is better than Fields, ok sure, but he is not a guy to elevate this team…he has had chances in Arizona and hasn’t done it, his attitude and work ethic were so bad the team tried to put clauses in his contract on that, so you know there is SOMETHING there. Fuck no…he’s not the answer
