Because they decided instead it’d be better to let our former failed GM make the decisions. Remember, that was the best thing they could’ve done according to you.

That's another lie or two. You're good at them.

    1. The decision on who to hire was made by the owner.

    2. I have never said the Jets made a "best" decision about anything.

Thought the same thing throughout the entire game.

Please sign this beast, he will be a monster somewhere else.

"Breece Hall has faced a stacked box 49.3% of the time this season, among the highest rates in the NFL.

Hall has still averaged 4.1 YPC against stacked boxes, due in large part to the #Jets OL.

Hall’s 2.5 average yards BEFORE contact against stacked boxes ranks top-5 in the NFL.

The deck is stacked against Hall and the OL every week and they continue to excel."

Just another way that the pathetic QB play ruins things for everyone else in so many ways.

    Re-sign him.

If he wants to be here that is.

RB is no longer viewed as a make or break high value position though what they do is the same as it's ever been. Even the best move on Barkley, McCaffrey, Henry etc.

So I'll understand if the Jets let him walk.

He deserves to be re-signed by the Jets. He's paid his dues, he's young bring him back.

Which is FOLLY. The Eagle do NOT win that Super Bowl, last year, without Barkley. Just because a RB's shelf life, on average, is half as long as most other positions, does not diminish the value they bring to an offense. No running game, no winny the games. Getting kind of sick of listening to front office types, who have never played a down, shitting on one of the most important positions of an offense just because of high probability of injury. Those backs you cited, their offenses blow ass when they're not "on." Right up to and including as early as this season.

Hall IS THE offense right now. There wouldn't be the 2 wins we have without him. Craziness.

I agree with you in that stud running backs should not be devalued and they have been because of their purported shelf life and high injury probability. However, I do tend to think Breece is very overrated here. For all of his positives, he has terrible vision and it’s very frustrating. He misses gaping cutback gaps that can go for big plays with his natural speed.

He’s worth re-signing even at a big number if he’s not going to be a whiney social media bitch that holds the bag. But I doubt he has any interest in being a good soldier here. I’d go out and get bruising proven 1,000 yard rusher Tyler Allgeier personally and take a back in the mid-rounds. Then let Allen & Davis fight it out for RB3.

Have to agree with the whiny part. The team is bad enough and they most certainly don't need that kind of person hanging around the locker room. My guess is a little winning will fix Breece's attitude. I'd be cool with either scenario you pointed out, though. $15 million per would be my number for Hall. However, if the team thinks they can get it done with Allen and Davis I'm cool with that too.

Yeah but so far, Allen has been promising but he doesn’t have Hall’s vision or breakaway speed…he isn’t going to get as many big runs as Hall gets, and for all his size, he has not played like a bruising 240 pound back…he’s gotten stoned on short yardage runs more often than you’d expect for a big back.

I like Davis quite a bit but he isn’t proven either…he is shifty and does break some nice runs every once in while as well but not sure if he can do that as a starter as consistently as Hall.

I do agree winning would go a long way on attitude…I’d personally try pretty hard to keep the guy

It was reported that the Jets had a high fourth round pick on the table from the chiefs at the deadline for Breece. If the Jets let’s Hall walk via FA this front office needs to be held accountable. We should resign him now…period

To let an asset just walk is bad business, no matter the industry. I’m not at all interested in a conditional 5th-6th round pick in 2028 for him leaving in FA.

The Chiefs fourth round pick was going to be high? Not getting the outrage here.

    Who's outraged?
You would think the Jets are planning on resigning Breece based on rejecting the reported offer from KC at the deadline. They must see him as part of their future, right?
    No other outcome makes sense.

He walks in FA and you get nothing...Wasting picks is what this Organization does best though so it's probably the outcome.

If he walks in free agency you’re probably getting a 4th round pick.

Not sure you know how it works...I suspect with the influx of cash, the Jets will be active players in the FA market. We'd be lucky to get a conditional 2027 6th if Breece signs elsewhere this offseason

You’re probably losing Quincy and he’ll sign a big deal elsewhere. Reynolds will get some sort of deal somewhere. If you lose Breece it’s because he’s signing a pretty good deal somewhere else too. Not sure who we will sign but I don’t know if we’re making huge splashes this year. Either way I think it’s pretty obvious they want to resign Breece or else they would have taken the 4th and not set the price above market value.
