The depth guys on defense and awful and definitely nobody is coaching them up. Like that nonsense with that Brownlee dude giving his man an extra 10 yards because he didn't bother touching him down. That dude should have been walking into the tunnel after that play, instead he was on the field for the very next play.
This, we did have some talent. We won 5 games last year and won't sniff that this year. Not to mention most games we lost last year were by a score or less, we are so much worse this year. EVERY player has been worse this year except the punter and kicker. Guys I really liked last year suck this year and it can only be coaching, so sick of hearing we have no talent. This team was never meant to be this bad, we were sold on some wins this year and a team to be proud of, bullshit.
We have Woody to blame He did the same shit that has not worked in the past and went and found a rookie DC coach And banked on the He was a great Jet nostalgia to sell it I didn’t buy it then and I still hate it now
Is Fields a relative of Glenn? Perhaps the son he didn't know he had? This overly protective stance Glenn is taking is reminiscent of a parent protecting their child. He seems to bend over backwards to give both Fields and Clemons a pass but will bring down the thunder on just about everyone else. Something else is going on here. Perhaps after wasting $30m of Woody's cash in his first year, Glenn might be feeling just a bit salty. $30m should have produce better stats out of his first choice as QB of the NYJ's but so far?.... nope Can Glenn, who appears to be both stubborn to a fault and proud, admit he made a mistake with Fields? I'm starting to think that answer is a resounding... NO
That, right there, is what separates the successful managers vs. failures. The ability to reflect, acknowledge mistakes and correct vs. the stubborn know it all.
Curtis Martin I would've bought into hook, line and sinker. The Jets or Coach A.G. now presented as Mr. Jet this dude retired as a Houston Texan. So I see through it.
