As I'm watching Gabriel, it brings up a question I have that seems to appear every year. JUST BECAUSE you drafted a kid HIGHER than another, Sanders for example, doesn't mean you HAVE to play him. Sanders can't be this bad, can he? This bullshit about playing people just BECAUSE they came in at a higher draft spot just perplexes me. You PLAY the best players. These people are so fucking arrogant in their whole Modus Operandi. God forbid they actually ADMIT they made a mistake EARLY on as opposed to grinding a season into the trash just because. Blows me away.
Fields comes through with a interception.,;So here we go again back to cementing that top 5 draft pick
I am usually one who says I don't need to see people play on Sunday. Coaches see them all week and if they are not playing, there's usually a good reason. But this one is head scratching to me. Gabriel is throwing at like 4.4 ypa this year. You have no chance with a passing game that anemic. Why not change?
I'm really starting to not like Engstrand. I know he's a rookie but he has zero imagination or feel for the flow of the game.
