Stanton at least goes on those streaks where he’s fucking Superman. Volpe and Wells go on extended streaks as Clark Kent.

I know, sorry I wasn't comparing the 3. I'm just really not feeling hopeful about the changes I want the Yankees to do.

Really wish the Yanks took a crack at Pete Alonso in the offseason. He’s the big (clutch) right handed bat they needed behind Judge.

Really hope they don't resign Grisham and let Dominguez develop already.

They won't resign him.... but I'm not sold in Dominguez one iota. The Yankees shouldn't make their center field defense suffer because Dominguez likes center. He's not good there either. I get Cal is amazing, but im not too high on switch hitters in today's game. The real good ones can fit in one hand.

I really have big question marks for him, Gil and Warren. Id package them all for trades if people called and the return is right.

ME TOO. It was auto assumed he was this bad fit... why? The Yankees don't have a right hander like him.

The red sox has a few players injured, but for this let's say their team was fully healthy.

You put judge on any of those AL lineups and remove that teams best hitter (Bregman or Story, Guerrero, Cal), they are way better than the Yankees actual lineup. It has and always been the roster construction.

So focused on the Yankees i forgot the Dodgers were basically guaranteed to go back to back unless it was a total meltdown of injuries.

Ohtani's contract should not be legal.

That is absolutely true, but if they had had to pay him in an appropriate way, they would have done so, so the lack of a salary cap means that it wouldn't have changed anything anyway.

I've watched most of the Mariners/Jays series, and it's confirmed one thing I've thought for a while.

Buck Martinez is a hater. Yankees fan know this, but during this series he's constantly jabbed the Mariners under the guize of analysis or compliments. Dude is a jerk off.

Woo is such a good pitcher. Id love him on the Yankees years down the line, Mariners have control for a while.

I hate what the Dodgers did with have 1 billion dollars in deferred money to 7 players. That's a broken system.

I would have preferred for the NL to win if was anyone else.

I've realized this series is lose/lose

Dodgers win, further proves the game is broken from a financial perspective.

Jays win i can already hear "knocked out by the world champs" being the go to line for not changing a single thing.

Not only that, but it would most likely be a game 7 win for sherzer. I hate sports right now

Giving Grisham a qualifying offer is the first "nothings going to change" red flag at the first opportunity you could see a red flag.

I was actually annoyed when I heard he was extended a qualifying offer. I think it's a no brainer for him to accept it.
