Not saying anything about Sellers as I haven’t watched him at all

My only comment is that I don’t think you can teach them where to throw. Or at least WE can’t. We couldn’t do it with Zach and we can’t do it with Fields.

If a guy doesn’t have that innate QB sense (pocket presence, route concepts, route anticipation, touch, etc.) I for sure know that our fucking coaching staff can’t teach it. Maybe a guy like Shanahan or O’Connell can, but sure as shit AG can’t, nor could any other of our damn defensive coordinates masquerading as HC’s could.

I would love to see us move on from AG and bring in someone like a Kingsbury and let him choose his QB. Best shot we’d have

    Nah

Ironic take cause Kingsbury would prefer Sellers. He’s the dude who took Kyler Murray and Daniels. Raw talent is what he wants and that’s Sellers

Besides with Sellers pocket presence is his strength. dude stands in there and shakes folks off.

He could improve anticipation and touch passing though for sure

Favre was right after Pennington. That's 3, all veterans from other teams. Yet we keep drafting looking for the answer. We probably should always be going for vets but also be grooming future QBs from mid rounds. Instead it's always the big name that is expected to be developed by a team that doesn't ever, EVER develop QBs.
