And this is exactly what I was afraid of…Woody believes in Glenn and is blaming it all on the QB. He is a blind fool. The bad QB play is a huge problem, but so is the lack of discipline, the lack of turnovers, the piss poor defense (until the last couple of games against weaker offenses so maybe there is hope), and so is the utter inability to manage in game situations, especially clock mgmt. I KNEW Woody cant’ see that AG is not a good HC. Buckle up boys, we have another year of this shit unless something drastic happens, like 0-17 and a fan uprising
These Woody/Fields comments (while not incorrect) are yet another example of how dumb Woody is. There is zero upside to trashing your QB publicly like this. Woody probably thinks he's defending himself/Glenn (since he hired Glenn), but he's too dumb to make the connection that Glenn was a big reason we signed Fields in the first place. It also puts Fields and Glenn in an extremely uncomfortable position if/when Taylor gets hurt and we have to start Fields again.
I dont think this matters as much as you think. I'd have to imagine the Fields plan came with the disclaimer of "this might not work but it's a transition year". So Woody calling it out is probably not even close to an indictment on the front office or coach.

At least I know that I won’t be spending any money on streaming services to watch this mess. I’ll just keep sponging off the kids and checking out what game happens to be on the services that they have. So far this season, the only game I was able to watch was the Pittsburgh game. Richardson is way worse than Fields. Fields is like the 25th best QB in the league who the Jets are making look like he's the 32nd best. Richardson is closer to the 64th best. If he comes here, he'll look like Tim Boyle with legs for three quarters and then suffer a concussion and an ACL tear on the same play.
