What decisions do the Jets fans hold a gun to Woody’s head to make? They routinely help them rank in the top 5 in attendance every year.

You guys really think Woody listened to WFAN and heard two fans say they don’t want Rodgers back and said welp there’s our answer, let’s move on.

What part of those fan base was banging the table for Adam Gase? Shit. A large portion of the fan base wanted to keep Darnold and trade down. Why didn’t Woody listen if there’s so much influence?

Sort of. It's more that I blame the fans for not even knowing what smart decisions are anymore. This results in sometimes pressuring the ownership into further dumb decisions, as well as, sometimes applauding the ownership for obviously dumb decisions. I think this team has seen losing for so long that we are at the point where the fanbase doesn't recognize what wins football games. We used to have a wise fanbase; I think it has aged out and what replaced it may be as bad as the ownership.

In fairness, I apparently haven’t been persuasive enough in my message board rhetoric to affect positive change within the Jets organization so maybe it is my fault.

You def need to work on your histrionics for one thing.

And what’s with the brevity? Four or five paragraphs of repetitive blathering at a minimum.

And work on your caps game, you’re much more PERSUASIVE when you emphasize your opinions like that.

Finally, don’t forget to repeat yourself over and over and over, because your opinion is entitled to so much more deference than anyone else’s.

The Jets are indeed moving us to full retard. You never want to be full retard.

was watching some of the Patriots game and seeing a coach making smart calls and decisions and motivating his players was painful :(

Forgive me, but I simply do not understand what actions you expect the fans to take?

Are you saying Vrabel didn’t go for 2 in the first quarter?

    I guess that’s a theory.

The fans aren’t getting paid for their football knowledge, though. Fans pay to see a professional football team on the field.

If the Jets were a different type of product they would have been recalled and removed from shelves years ago.

The Jets are in the driver seat for the #1 pick and
whether you like or dislike any or the prospects that’s an extremely appealing draw for offensive coaches that normally wouldn’t be interested.

You have to entertain canning Glenn with that in mind. Franchises get completely reset with new coach/QB combos.

his player caught the ball but was ruled to have gone out of bounds (near the end when they were trying to burn time) but he threw the challenge flag and the refs agreed he had gone down in-bounds so the clock continued to run and they ran out the clock - just seeing someone make in the moment correct calls was weird.

The negative 10 pass yardage is a Jets record.

Another one in the books for Glenn.

See, this for sure I agree with. AG may well be a good coach, he may not. But a QB like Justin Fields is a coach killer. He will not let AG get a chance to prove his coaching ability one way or the other.

Fields is who he is. He's a running QB and he's a great running QB, but he can't throw from the pocket. The CS isn't doing anything to help him though, in terms of play calling. Nothing. What is going on?!!!

Their desire to protect Fields today as an individual player inhibited their ability to be a good coaching staff. He has to be put on the bench. It’s wild to trot him out there next week.

the funniest thing about this is that the only other team to have close to -10 passing yards in the last 25 years was the Giants in a game against the Jets in 2023 who ended up with -9 passing yards and the starting QB for the Giants that day was none other than Tyrod Taylor (to be fair he went out injured with a massive +1 yards passing and Devito lost 10 yards passing).

AG should go... period. He had a chance today to bench fields and didn't. 1/2 time adjustment are not only about making adjustments but looking at the personal that gives you the best chance to win... There is no logical reason why he kept him in the game except for maybe his EGO...doesn't want to admit that his choices of Fields and Stephens are catastrophic failures..

he had better WTFup or he will be looking for work...and if I was woody, I would call the atty and see if he can be fired for malfeasance....or failuer to perform his job functions.

I would let him play out the season but at this point, from what I’ve seen, I can find no reason to keep him. At all.

Anyone with eyes could see that Fields is terrible at this point…we all knew his stats were the product of garbage time, but here was the proof…when the Denver D didn’t let up, he did the same thing in the 4th that he was doing all game, taking sacks and not seeing open guys.

Any coach with a chance to win his first game should have put Taylor in that last drive…he’s no great shakes but he’s a competent QB who at least can see the field…AG does that and we win that game.

This loss is first and foremost on Fields being Fields…but now I’m on fucking AG.

SUCK doesn’t take long to show, and baby it’s showing up big time.

    He can go.
