I don't have a "thing" for you; I just love seeing you get pissed off because it's so freaking easy. It's hilarious. It's like a game for me. I really don't care about a link, or the fact that I'm included in the poll and getting votes; I'm not junc. But good to know you didn't vote for me.

It's not easy. I need a moron to start something. Most people here are not morons.

This is an interesting post by you. You are letting the board know what type of creature you are. I believe that people who join message boards to see other people "get pissed off" are known as trolls.

I know your next banning will be a permanent one.

How 'bout you go out in a blaze of dumbass glory right now and call me every name in the book and be done with it?

There has been more fighting on this site in the last week than I have seen combined in my year here. It's starting to get funny.

Is that show in re-runs on Nick at Nite or some similar channel?
Are any of the seasons out on DVD?
Who remembers the episode when Balki was winning all the football pools?

Funny thing is, I don't go out of my way to try and piss people like you off, but if it happens once, I'll be more inclined to do it again. I don't remember that post that you linked to, but I still agree with what I said. Hey, at least you're not as bad as other posters here.

And I never said I join message boards to see other people get pissed off. It's just one of many enjoyable things about messageboards.

And no, I really don't plan on getting banned. I have no desire to curse you off. I don't hate you. I enjoy your posts. They provide comedy.

If someone really wanted to waste their time and find out why I do that, they'll find the poster started with me at some point in the past.

If my posts provide comedy, whether intentional or unintentional, then I shall continue.

Good to know. I'd hate to be a part of the reason someone left a board. And what I was commenting on that thread had nothing to do with a history between us, as I don't think there was.

This poll shocks me. I guess being optimistic makes you less intelligent than people like Rajenseen, Raiderjoe, Jetsrock16, and Glennfoley these days.

I didn't vote for you, Rob, and I'm also surprised at this voting, but to be fair, it isn't just being optimistic. You can come off as mindlessly optimistic (you love to give yourself credit for predicting the Jets making the playoffs, but you were off by 3 wins, which makes you no "smarter" than people who predicted 7-9), and some of your posts in game threads are downright bizarre (as in "We might lose this game!" when it's the 4th quarter and the Jets are losing by 20 points).

Still, I repeat, I don't view you as a serious candidate for this "award."

Thanks and I can actually agree with you there. During games, my emotions go nuts. And I can say some really stupid crap, I don't deny that. But outside of when my emotions run wild from games, I'm just an optimist.

Rob A, I actually am beginning to feel sorry for you here. Truth is, I seriously doubt that the people that voted for you actually think you are deserving of this award.... it's more a reaction to an ceratin amout of overly zealous enthusiasm you have. You are beyond being a sunshiner.... more like a super nova. Chin up.... they are just teasing you... don't let it get to ya!

    tbj,

Couldnt of put it better. Roba is not a bad poster...doesnt deserve to be on this list. With that said, sometimes (dont take offense to this rob) I think he posts things to win the award of most opt. poster...lol. I cant really believe he thought the Jets would go 13-3. Then again, perhaps he is just a wild and crazy Jet fan.

Dont take it personal rob. Your a happy soul and dont change just because some of us might think, at times, you are out of your mind. :breakdance:

Thanks. And just to let you know, I don't post for awards. I really expected a 13-3 season. And just so you know I don't post for awards, I predicted 14-2 last year before I even knew that this site had awards (didn't learn of it till the nominations took place last yr).

But this poll does get on my nerves, too think that so many people take my optimism and turn it into a lack of intelligence, compared to pure stupidity of some of the others on this poll.

Just to let you know I agree with you. Although some of the things you say are out there you are nothing more than an absolutely crazy optomist. Posters like GlennFoley and others should be the ones who take home this award, not a pposter like RobA
