'I will f--- your world up': Robert Saleh to Liam Coen in heated exchange after Jaguars' win over 49ers - CBSSports.com

    Here's the exchange:
Coen: "Keep my name out of your mouth. Keep my name out of your mouth. Keep my name out of your f---ing mouth."
Saleh: "I was trying to compliment your ass. I will f--- your world up. You don't wanna f--- with me. I will f---ing end your f--ing life."

    --

I really don't understand this guy. Saleh was a bold talking bad ass that held players and coaches accountable before he came here. He is back to being a bold talking bad ass after he left.

But in the short period as Jets HC he was an excuse filled, pansy, fanboi

one of life's greatest mysteries. up there with what happened to the Maya Empire in my book

I would imagine the last part will earn him a suspension. No idea what to think of his behavior but I think that whole tough guy act before the Jets hired him was manufactured. It was a campaign by the 49ers to grab a free third round pick while their smoke and mirrors DC got a HC job.

I don't see anyone giving him another HC job after making what amounts to a terroristic threat

Those are some big names coach Saleh threw out there along with the Jaguars coach.

    McVay & O'Connell.

He's a great defensive coach. I don't think it's wise for him to try to expose something like that and throw out names like that.

The question is, why did Coen get angry at Saleh complimenting him? Or was it not a compliment? Was it a comment in the press conference?

The look on Glenn’s face all night really scared me into thinking the Jets beat the shit out of guys that badly. It’s like these dudes become zombies when they get here.

I said the exact same thing to my brother watching the Dolphin game. When Allen fumbled on the 1, Glenn looked like his soul left his body.

Salah was all piss and vinegar up until "keeping receipts" comment, yet the loses kept stacking.

Yeah, around Q3 Glenn looked like he had seen a ghost and just had that blank inept look on his face the rest of the game. You could tell he was extremely disappointed and worried.

Sorry to sound like Captain Obvious here, you are only as good as the people around you.

Also Saleh being a 1st year head coach was not allowed to have full reign. He had no say on the offensive side of the ball for starters. The history of 1st year head coaches is very bad usually. For example Pete Caroll?

After his firing the Jet's defense has never been the same. Remember the pundits at one time claimed the Jet's had a championship defense, what happened?

Why is Mac Jones now looking like a good QB with the 49ers when he was a total bum with the Pats? How about Sam Darnold or Geno Smith?

A statement like the bolded requires some kind of support.

Don't you dare express an opinion on a fan forum message board lest you incur the wrath of the attribution police. You've been warned and are on notice.

I'm sure a bright guy like you knows the difference between a declarative statement and an opinion. Exactly who didn't allow the head coach to have a say about half the game?

Something unsaid/fishy about this guy's character; remember when he had to be escorted from the facility after his firing... why...

Per multiple sources, Jets coach Robert Saleh was escorted out of the building by the team’s director of security, after Saleh got the news.

That didn’t happen, we’re told, when the Jets fired Saleh’s predecessor, Adam Gase.

You should have used the reply button for that one - I could have gotten back to you sooner. I didn't see you respond to what I sent your way, though.

I think that was an overreaction on the media’s part.

Saleh was the only one fired midseason. He was simply escorted out because the Jets had a season to play and intel to protect.

I still believe that he was removed because he wore that Palestinian flag on his uniform during a nationally broadcast game and Woody lost it. Sadly, unless I see evidence to the contrary…;)

The timing of his firing was awful and the defense hasn't been the same since. One of the most asinine moves in the History of Woody.
