I'm not sure even Wilks knows what it is exactly. Does appear haphazard at times and definitely ineffective at others. 62 points in two games on our way to giving up 500+ pts on the year.
Another lesson here: don't just say there are no moral victories, and then act like you just won. It's week to week League, when you have a chance to win, you have to capitalize. If you can't, it's not a moral victory, it's a tough brutal loss. Next week may be completely different and before you know it, the season is over by the Columbus Day. Don't just say no moral victories, but believe it.
The reality is... this season was still born anyway for the Jets. There was no chance at the VLT, PO, AFCE, none at all. The Organization wisely didn't raise expectations, so this was going to be a developmental year.
Based on the players and record we have compared to last season I expected more IF coaching is better. So far it has been worse. AG needs to turn things around soon.
No doubt.. AG has to take a long, hard look at things and fix what's broken. If that means taking over the Defense? so be it. If that means benching $30M QB? that's the way it goes sometimes.. Something has to be done before the team AND the Fanbase checks out
I see zero progress, the Jets have become so laughable and bad, that Adam Gase is looking like a good coach, I just don't see how this cycle ends, we did it with Parcells, what's the next saving grace, because we're so far from it now.
I don’t understand all this concern about progress. We scored over 30 points last week; with that clear offensive potency we should make the playoffs.
Problem is everything is broken! There is not 1 functioning unit on the team now. This team sucks 2020 bad.
Ya I remember a few years back, first game of the season, with Tony Sprano we scored 40 against the bills, and couldn't score the rest of the season
Agree…the defense has been BRUTALLY bad so far Don’t know what the fuck Wilks is doing but sure doesn’t smell like coaching football
We'll always have the Sauce cheesehead game from a couple (3?) of seasons ago. We'll always have the Justin Fields naked bootleg for a touchdown from week 1. Also, Mike White had a couple of great games. Nobody can take these things away from us.

Gipson scored a game winning TD in OT vs the Bills on opening day in 2023. Aaron Rodgers had a couple of good games in 2024. Nobody can take that away from us.
