Yeah, I keep peeking in at that game. As much chaos as free transfer creates, it’s a blessing for players like Lonergan. Guys who enroll at big time schools with hope of working their way up the depth chart, only to get stuck as backups when a team like Alabama annually recruits the next high school phenom to make sure he never gets a shot.
Uggh... I like Napier, but that was brutal. Gators have become my adopted team as well as half my friends are either alumn or their parents are (best friends daughter just graduated as well)... and theyre diehard crazy. Steve Spurrier used to live like 4 few miles down the road literally. Crescent Beach is the closest beach to G-ville. The texts I got yesterday "FIRE NAPIER!!" intense as always, but then again it's ALWAYS the coaches fault. I think in this instance it was. OH, and I live in St. Augustine... never say were in JAX
I'm going to see Young Arch look like a football god against the mighty UTEP on Saturday. For free even.
He was allegedly grimacing on the sidelines while he was warming up last week. He and Sarkisian shut down any injury rumors but I also heard them over the summer. His arm looks completely dead to me with no zip. If he’s not hurt, he certainly doesn’t have a NFL arm.
At some point we’re going to have to ask - is it Dabo? GATech is a good team, but Clemson should be a great team.
Pretty disappointed. I like Dabo and I like his resistance to the portal. He really never recovered when Tony Elliott and Venables left though. I also think his loyalty to Klubnick has really hurt him. He is not it and they could be a great team with a transfer portal QB.
Dabo sucks, happy to see Clemson go down. That GT QB is probably not an NFL guy but he sure is fun to watch play the position
I really do admire his resistance to the portal, and I like the targeted approach he’s taking. Georgia does pretty much the same thing, although Dabo had to come kicking and screaming. I’m just not sure that’s going to be the sustainable model for playoff-caliber teams going forward. Loyalty might be a thing of the past.
Oh boy.... bad night for Lagway. Can't blame Napier for that one.... aside from not yanking after that terrible 3rd int
Sellers is playing but the line is still Missouri -10, FYI. South Carolina traditionally struggles in Missouri but still damn, you can get Sellers and 10 points come on now also believe the Miami/Florida line is too low. Beck is en fuego, they might get 50 themselves. Well probably not but maybe 40, and the Gators can tack on a couple scores to cover it — might go real big today on these and if they don’t hit the kids will have to eat cans of Starkist tuna all week.
I’m in on Miami. Florida switched their right tackle last week and he still sucks. The Miami ends should feast. I know you’re an alum but South Carolina’s looked like relative shit. They barely handled a Virginia Tech team we now know is awful on a neutral site with 75% of the crowd. 10 is a lot but that’s a shitty road trip. It’s a plane to a long bus ride to the middle of nowhere. I might play SC team total over..
I don’t disagree, SC has looked like shit. Already locked in the big boy bet though so it may be Starkist for us this week. It’s actually enjoyable with everything bagel seasoning
Syracuse all of teams fucking up Clemson lol Klubnik will be one of those “will go professional in anything besides sports”
