Guaranteed he'll end up back on the jets in the next couple years. He'll get a sack, jets fans will cheer loudly, commentators will speak of him being a crowd favorite, and we'll never hear of him again. Quincy Enunwa will be hired as head coach the following season.
Not too many things shock me as a Jets fan. But the fact that this is (can this be right?) the FIRST "Cut Micheal Clemons"-thread has me genuinely gob smacked. Clemons has seemingly been the poster boy for soul crushing (and opposition possession extending) personal fouls for at least the past three seasons.
I think most jet fans were surprised gibson and clemons were on the roster… with in 2 weeks both of them showed exactly why none of us wanted them around… clemons penalty today sums up his miserable tenure here. i hope glenn continues to release these kind of dumb players..

He's not good at anything you need a DL to be good at and he's undisciplined. Cut bait and get some "youts" in there to develop.
Its not merely that he plays dumb--he's also regulaly stopped on pass rushes 1:1 and is easily taken care of on most plays.
What he did was dumb for sure because it was 3rd and 19 and so unnecessary. And yeah he is a repeat offender so if they cut him im cool. But can we still talk about how it was a very weak roughing call? And how Allen was bitching for a flag before he even hit the ground. Allen is worse than Brady
You beat me to it. Shut the NY Jests down at half time and watched a REAL football team, injured and beaten up, win a football game against a team they were SUPPOSED to beat which is something the Jests haven't done in a very long time. The 49'ers did that all while not having their starting QB, WR & TE with a whole host of other players playing banged up. Yet, somehow, they were able to go on the road and beat a team they were supposed to beat. Of course, the icing on the cake is to see Huff close out the game with a sack. JSMH
