I think when our OC gets more familiar with his personnel, we'll see the cream rise to the top. No way can I believe Gipson is better than Smith at the Wr. spot. Can't prove it on the bench though. Kid has gotta get some playing time.
If you did not see this game as a great performance and an order of magnitude betters that we have seen in years I don’t know what to tell you. The same whining BS of years past doesn’t not apply.
Well, that has to change PDQ. Again, this CS isn't perfect and they're still finding out what they have. I don't think 3 preseason games are enough to really make a sound decision.
That's what a decade and a half of being horrific does to a fanbase, we celebrate competitive losses, I did that in the 80's I'm not about to do it again
Well, you might as well cash out now as this team is NOT going to the SB, NOT going to be in the Post Season, NOT gonna win the division. No need to watch the Jets this year if all you're interested in is wins. Come see us in 2028.. We'll still be here..
As poor as the Steelers appear to be, they're still better than the Jets organizationally. The Bills are also better than the Jets so you can pencil in a loss next week too. I probably wouldn't put any money on the Jets making the playoffs either. That's the reality of the '25 NYJ's. A work in progress once again.
I just don’t see the optimistic outlook. The offense likely over-performed, the defense likely showed us exactly what they are, and the coach exhibited a basic lack of football sense to seemingly prove he is some sort of aggressive genius. Get ready for a bunch of 35-17 losses
We just put up 32 points against a good defense and you think this means we are only going to score 17 points per game? What kind of logic is that? Sent from my SM-S938U1 using Tapatalk
Hey, I’m in my 58th season as a Jet fan, and if anyone has the right to scream “same old Jets” after this game, it’s me. Yes, there are no moral victories in pro sports. However, Glenn and company deserve a chance. I saw a lot of good things today; things I haven’t seen from a Jet team in quite a while. There were also troubling things, especially on the defense. Let’s see if these guys can get these things right. Yea, it’s really hard not to “SOJ” a loss like this. But let’s temper it a little bit. Let’s see how the next few games pan out at least before we start calling for people’s heads
Even established teams , with great coaches (kc) don’t always come out of the gate firing on all cylinders . It’s game one for cryin out loud. Let’s see how atleast the first 4 games turn out before we start writing things off.
exactly old Jets found ways to lose very winnable games, the New Jets are finding ways to lose very winnable games, nothing has changed move along now.
Oh boy, here we go. This isn’t some galaxy-brain take, it’s literally the basic rules of logic. Premise: I believe the offense overperformed. Conclusion: therefore, they won’t sustain 32 points per game. That doesn’t mean they’ll always score exactly 17 — it means the average will logically be less than 32. This is called deductive reasoning: if A is true (overperformance), then B follows (scoring will regress). It’s also basic comparative logic: 17 < 32. This isn’t advanced philosophy; it’s the kind of thing most people nail down by the time they stop eating paste. Want me to toss in some Venn diagrams, or will that just overload the system?
