    It's a win-win either way

    1) It would push the Jets closer to getting this new regime out (because I want to see a super bowl and if these guys are frauds the sooner they are exposed the better so we can move on)
    2) It will give more confidence in the new regime in both their decision and play on the field and push me in that direction that bringing them in was correct and proves wrong. (I would like to be proven wrong but I don't have confidence in them)

With that said, they kicked Rodgers to the curb, flew him across the country to waste his time. They better back it all up with a win or the seat will be hot from the start. The fanbase will turn fast if Rodgers plays good while fields looks awful.

Sick of hearing about Rodgers cross country flight. Are we supposed to have sympathy or something?

What a first world problem to have.

Most of us can’t afford groceries but poor Aaron Rodgers had to fly from his mansion in California to NYC once before collecting a paycheck we can only dream of

by cutting him it allowed him to get an additional $20 million contract from the Steelers anyway.

He should be thankful they didn’t jerk him around or try to trade him to Cleveland or both. They made the decision quick and it allowed him to find where he wanted to play

Ok they wasted his time. If you don't agree fine.

But I'm sure Rodgers has not forgotten and shouldn't.

of course it upset him. He’s a yuppie diva who bitches about everything . But nobody else sees it as disrespectful

The league told him he couldn’t wear a 20+ year old helmet and he bitched about that too. Clearly he has unique “needs” and out of touch with common sense

Well it was really a no-win situation

If they fly him out like they did then the talk track is that they wasted his time

If they don’t fly him out and cut him over the phone, then the talk track would have been well they disrespected him and couldn’t even tell him face to face…kinda like breaking up with a girlfriend via text

So whatever they tried could have been spinned regardless…

I guess the only other option would be for AG to fly out to meet AR in Cali and do it live…

Rodgers has a lot more "common sense" than nearly all of the league. He wasn't the one folding to the NFLs demands back in 2021.

Yep they should have flown out.

Either way a rookie head coach and gm shouldn't be behaving the way those guys did unless they can back it up starting Sunday by making Rodgers look bad and further enforce they made the right decision.

Tom Parasello tweeted Sauce was limited in practice today with a fibula ailment.

Hopefully it's nothing and more of a precautionary thing.

I’m not a doctor but I stayed at a holiday inn last night. The fibula is the bone in the calf so maybe it has been the same thing all along.

now idk how the hell a bone gets sore, or how to resolve that.. I’ll need a couple more nights for that

Not a doctor either but a fibula injury sounds at the very best a bone bruise and at the very worse a stress fracture?

Sauce’s legs are thinner than a pencil. Bone issues in the extremities are not a good thing.

You steered it toward that by bringing up "common sense".

no I did not. I was talking about his helmet. It is common sense that a 20 year old helmet is outdated and needs to be replaced. yet he still bitched about it

Hes used the same helmet for 20 years but never had a major issue with it. Thats not a lack of common sense. Its his experience that got him through 20 years.

You just have to hate on every aspect of his decisions because you have Aaron Rodgers derangement syndrome.

    jeez get off his balls.

Helmets are not designed to be used for 20 years.

But even still, again compare it to real life. If you are at the job site and some guy who bitches about everything starts bitching about the OSHA approved hard hats, and wants to wear something 20 years old, it would be so annoying and everyone would call him a diva, or worse, as they should.
