No, there are still guys here making excuses for Rodgers and blaming the owner, the old GM, the old HC, the old coordinators, most of the coaches, a bunch of the old players, some players still here and, yes, even us fans.

You can believe whatever you want, regardless of proof to the contrary, but don't put words in my mouth or anyone else's.

Not sure we break double digits but I’ll be optimistic and say we lose 24-10

Rodgers will probably channel one last "MVP Rodgers" performance for this game... just 'cause.

At least I'm a short bike ride home from the sports bar...

One team is historically inept at football though. I’m not ruling out a win but this is a terrible offense run by a bad QB with a rookie playcaller going against a very good defense. I have a feeling it’s going to be insanely ugly.

it’s the same for them. It’s a terrible offense going against a very good defense.

I think there are two different levels of terrible here. I hope we annihilate them. I hope we drop Rodgers and pick him off and Fields runs right by Watt for a TD. But I also feel like we are going to have a bottom 3 offense in the league and Pittsburgh isn’t the team we’re gonna pull a fast one on.

I dont need to believe anything, there is a 100+ page topic of Rodgers being the blame for the Jets season last year.

No need to attempt to re-write history after the fact.

I actually think you’d have a pretty hard time finding more than a few people placing the blame solely on Rodgers. I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen anyone say that. Pretty widely accepted that last year was a complete failure from top to bottom. Coaching, front office, the whole shabang.

That was my argument last year yet I was attacked relentlessly because I did not want to put all the blame on Rodgers while most others did.

I think they are going to have a bottom level offense as well, which is why i think this particular game could go either way.

I think our offensive line and running game is actually better than theirs. I am worried about Membou against Watt though

I don’t think it’s pulling a fast one if we win. When below average teams play, and the home team wins, it’s not pulling a fast one

Well I think the Steelers are a better team than we are, starting from front office to coaching to roster on down.

To me, I expect our team to continue to suck as we keep doing the same shit over and over and over by hiring rookie defensive coaches, blundering our drafts, etc. I seriously hope that Mougey and AG are the guys to break this fucking cycle of suck, but to me, Woody and this team has just not earned the benefit of the doubt in anything they do. I will continue to expect the same shitty no playoffs results until they can prove they are different.

I will hope we finally got it right this time, but I will continue to doubt it until they prove it on the field.

They are and it's not even close.

Fully expecting Sunday to be another embarrassing Sunday for the Jets. I'm actually surprised that they didn't make this a primetime game. They could have sold the hell out of the Rodgers vs. the Jets angle as well as the fact that it's a rite of passage for each NFL season for the Jets to completely humiliate themselves in front of a national, primetime audience.

It's the Jets, so Rodgers probably throws for 320yds and 3 TD's just because.

I think the Jets will struggle to put up points all year long. Teams will stack the box, take away the run game and force Fields to beat them with his arm. Fields will probably have a few nice runs but I'm not optimistic.
