It’s sad to see Kerley and Enunwa in the “top” list too. They topped out at 827 and 857 receiving yards in a year respectively. Some of that is probably on the passer too but damn. That’s sad.
Seriously…if someone like Kerley is on your list of best drafted receivers that’s a shit ass list Enunwa was good but injuries more so than talent really robbed him of a career
This type of sustained pass-catcher ineptitude is only possible when you repeatedly hire GMs and HCs with antiquated, anti-passing football philosophies. There's just no other explanation. You'd expect a significantly better crop of draft picks by sheer chance.
Joe Douglas is the Adam Gase of Gm's, Every move he made set the organization back years. How he drafted so many busts is baffling.
He was terrible but drafting Sauce, Wilson, Olu, Tippmann, AVT absolutely did not set the franchise back years. One move did and unfortunately it's the only move that matters.
Yeah…funny how the career of GMs and HCs depends almost exclusively on being able to find, draft, and develop a QB It’s almost as if nothing else matters much The NFL has set the rules to create a high scoring passing league…back in the 70s and 80s, building a winning team by playing D and running the ball was possible. No longer. That’s why I hate that we keep hiring rookie defensive guys as HCs…for the most part, they don’t know how to build a great offense…it’s just not really in their DNA.

Going to be really annoying to see a bunch of young promising guys in Skinner, Smith and Pritchett only to end up with Lazard and Gipson in their places.
It’s a wash at the end of the day. They all kinda suck, so who cares pritchett is 5’8 like 120lbs or something, we aren’t going to be kicking ourselves over him and I don’t even know who Skinner is
Well at the end end of the day the whole team is going to suck so it definitely doesn’t matter but I would much prefer to give young talented guys a chance over some retreads that have accomplished nothing here in two years.

Donovan Edwards being waived and they are going to try and get him back on the practice squad per Rosenblatt. Can’t imagine he makes it through waivers though. I know we have a stacked room but you need to find ways to keep talented players.
I’d def take a flyer on Palmer no to Dionte. After the stunt he pulled with the Steelers/Ravens…and he didn’t make the team out of camp, he may have finished all Of his options in the NFL with his behavior.

Besides drafting the biggest bust in in jets history(Zack Wilson) instead of getting a haul of picks for him, how about signing and drafting bust oline time and time again and failing to build a oline for 6 years? Trading 2 2nd's for Aaron rodgers while no one wanted his old washed up ass? Going all in last year and trading more draft picks to save his ass? Thats not setting back the organization? All the Wr's besides Garrett he wasted high draft picks on? The 2 times we showed signs off being good he failed to replace the people who kept blowing games which were Zack Wilson(when Mike White was playing better) and Nick folk when he kept blowing games. Guy is a miserable turd.
