I feel Tyrod is the best QB on the roster with this group that ain't saying much. It should've been a open competition for the Jets starting QB job. Coach Glenn came here stressing competition & playing but they handed Fields everything nothing earned here.
Always do. Kicked off Midnight our time & its now nearly 2am. Listening to Mougey now. Same old, same old. I like AG though.
Agreed. Tyrod was always the best QB on this roster. His big problem, which is raising its head again this preseason, is his continuing issues with injuries. Which is a shame, because it could have been a cool story to see if Tyrod could break another incredibly long playoff drought all these years later. This has been the most frustrating thing about the offseason.
I believe he won a championship in the UFL I watched some of his games there. I'm not saying it will translate to the NFL but he does have previous pro experience.
They'll head absolutely nowhere for the first couple of months of the season. Then fall completely out of contention well before Thanksgiving, maybe even by Halloween. Then they'll turn to a different QB who will do just enough to both keep us from drafting one of these QBs coming out next year while also providing false hope heading into next season.
I am hastily revising my earlier overly optimistic prediction of 10 wins, downwards. We'll be lucky to get half that.
They very well could be five games back of the division by then, five and a half with the tiebreaker to the Bills.
