For the first time since maybe the Rex years I felt like we had an identity. Yes yes, one preseason game, bland gameplan, starters missing. But the OL was moving people around and the gameplan was very clear. I thought Engstrand was very efficient and calculated. Fields did what we need him to do. Braelon Allen is going to be an absolute force based off what it looks like we want to do with him. The WR room is weird… I can’t figure out what’s real and what’s not but there’s some flashes there. Arian Smith should have had a bomb TD if it weren’t for a bad throw. DL talent flashed, Sauce was absurd, we were quick and hard hitting. And of course… Glenn absolutely roasting dudes on the sidelines. What a breath of fresh air. Hard to find much negative tonight. Even ST looked great. Grain of salt and all that but I’d rather come away from a preseason game feeling good than bad.
You guys are funny. One drive knocks out all the comments about practice reps. The purpose of scrimmages is to get the starters some work early and to see who can't play at this level. And of course Sanders is on the way to the HOF and the Jets should have drafted him in the first round.
Bookmakers will have wanted that on for the dildo colour market 4-7 Black 5-1 lurid green 10-1 sky blue 25-1 flesh
I don’t see how. Hall, Allen, Davis, Beck are locks. And they might even have to keep Nwangwu for kick and punt returning. Maybe not though I liked what I saw from Edwards but there isn’t room. Joe Douglas loved the phantom injury thing where we stash a guy like Edwards on IR for a toe nail but I don’t think that’s very professional
Davis does have an ankle injury but Glenn said it would be fine. Other than someone in front of him going down, I can’t see a way Edwards makes the team. I was kind of annoyed when we signed him because he’s absolutely an NFL caliber RB but we have no room for him.
Which passes are you referring to, can you point here? Looks fine to me, except one time when he way trying to evade the pressure and make sure he gets rid of it without arm being hit.
And that's after TD drive where he completed 75% of his passes and scored on the only drive he had. Can't make this up.
I agree with that other poster, his motion was awful. Fields threw purely with his arm it’s like his body is just there for the ride. Similar to how drunk people throw darts at the bar
He has a hitch at the top of his motion that I saw more than once last night. The incompletion to GW for sure. Everything always seems a tick late and never looks pretty.
