Huge potential steal for Falcons. The best thing they could do is get rid of that fraud Vick... He's the most overrated player in the league IMO and is holding that team back. Vick's best fit might actually be in Oakland, with that offensive line he'll be running for his life all the time, so this way he is using his strength more often than not hahah.
It won't happen. Vick's cap hit is something like 22 million dollars if hes released and theyre only 9 over
 yeeah the cap thing kinda ruins this fake rumor of happening but oh well.... Vick's never been good, idk why people think he would be. Young has a shot to be an actual good QB and still run. He's already better than Vick no questions asked. Am I right?
i'd like to believe that vince is better, but vince hasnt impressed by anything other than winning...something vick actually did early in his career...i think vick just lost how to be a leader i would have to see vince prove he can win for a few seasons...as in more than vick did b/c vick has actually won in the playoffs... this is in no effort to defend vick as a legit qb or say he is good, but...he can win games
Actually they changed the rules, so if traded the hit can be spread out over 2 years. It would be 7-8M this year with the remainder next year. Still won't happen though.
Bu Bu But! Schaub can't throw it 90 yards in the air and out of the stadium like Vick did in that Nike Commercial!!
Good point. That's another reason why it won't happen. McKay genuis "sell your soul now, bill me later" contract strategies. Think Vick signed a 10 year, 100 mill dollar deal or something like that. It was insane. 1/4 of it was bonus too. Yeah, he's not going anywhere. With that said, and being a Buc fan, I'd like to say Vick is not overrated. Why? BECUASE EVERYONE SAYS HE IS! He's the most named player when it comes to the "Overated list". How can a player be overrated if everyone says he's overrated- then who the hell is rating him highly? IMO, Vick is actually UNDERrated, because everyone thinks he's so overrated. Sure, he's QB skills are questionable, but he alone has kept the Falcons above water many many times. And he alone has literally "carried" the ball/team to a win. The guy can win games.
No no no... It's the media that overrates him. Pretty much all fans think he's garbage you're right about that, but as long as the media keeps making Vick out to be a Pro-Bowl calibre QB he will be overrated IMO. Vick IS overrated, and I loathe his presence on my television screen.
why would Raiders want a RB(Vick)to play Qb when they can easily get Jamarcus '"The real deal" russell as their QB. I don't know if anyone saw this from Nfl.com http://nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/9950047 Quote: Every offseason, New England's Tom Brady works with former College of San Mateo head coach Tom Martinez, who cleans up the Patriots quarterback's mechanics. But last weekend, for the first time, Martinez worked with LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell, regarded as one of the top prospects in the upcoming NFL draft. And what Martinez said should catch the attention of everyone in Oakland's front office. After working with Russell, Martinez told some people that he never has seen a talent quite like Russell -- including Brady. Martinez was highly impressed with Russell's "coachability" and his physical skills. Martinez said that Russell is the type of quarterback who can do everything wrong on a play and still have it come out right. But the fact that Martinez endorsed Russell as strongly as he did only reinforces the notion Russell will be going to the Raiders with the draft's No. 1 overall pick. The Raiders passed up quarterbacks Matt Leinart and Jay Cutler last April. They can't afford to set back their franchise again this April. __________________
Not that it would have made a big difference in the overall standings but Cutler to Moss would scare me
