Just look at a sauce tackle attempt . The dropped ball won’t seem so bad

Agreed. The kid at least made a play before messing up. Plenty of others on the team who continuously struggle in their own roles to really get overly upset with Corley.

Apparently the kid has maturity issues. Good coaching could fix that quickly.

Then again, some might argue our ownership might have maturity issues

It was a comment made during an interview with either Schefter or Rapoport.

Another mind numbingly dumb play by Corley in the Browns game. Fielded a kickoff at the 5 yard line and ran out of bounds making sure he tight-roped the sideline to stay in bounds while catching it.

Hard to understand how a player can make it to the NFL like that

I don't usually follow what goes on after a player leaves unless they're a big fat mouth (see The Prez). When I say follow, I don't mean follow on social media. I don't belong to any, I mean just in general.

That being said, his expression strikes me like he doesn't give two chucks about football. It's that look people get gassing up their car on a shitty Monday morning on the way to a job they can't stand. o_O

Corley may not be as talented as Adonai but both did major blunders. What do you do after that? A guy like AM goes to another team, busts his ass and is now in the convo for a spot next year. Corley meanwhile is floundering on the browns and still making blunders. Again I realize talent wise AM is better but hard work and paying attention to the details matters too.

It matters…football IQ and work ethic matter

Which is why I wouldn’t have minded one bit if they would have cut Corley after his stupid shit with dropping the ball before the end zone…that’s just beyond stupid to me. GTFO.

So not surprised he did another stupid move yesterday in catching a kick inside the 5 and running out of bounds…it’s like he has ZERO idea where he is on the field.

    I don’t want players like that…

The work ethic thing is also a big part of it, and I know it’s a different thread, but its a huge part of why I want ZERO to do with bringing Kyler Murray here…this entitled blasé attitude sucks on ANY player, but in a QB it is a death sentence. You will NEVER win with players that just don’t give a shit. It’s just a silly game to him that he plays by coasting on his natural ability…but without the football IQ and work ethic, he will never win big. He just won’t. It’s no different than QBs like Fields or Zach where they have this natural physical talent but without the football IQ and work ethic, they will suck. And they are coach-killers…

The only way to top this is if he threw the ball backwards before he went out of bounds like he was trying to prevent a punted ball going into the endzone.
