I am guessing the floor is 5 with the ceiling being 8 or 9. No playoffs again. At least they aren't being hyped up as the defending offseason champions like they were these past 2 years.
despite what that miserable turd Woody wants us to believe to sell those big fat tickets, this is going to be another rebuild year and no playoffs, I don't get why they are not trading Breece hall and maybe Sauce to stock up on draft picks.
I went with the over. I like what I've heard from Glenn so far. I feel weirdly positive that they can build something, starting with the OL. And you know I've been the darkest of darksiders for several years running now, so that's saying something.
We won 5 games with atleast 5 future hall of famers on this team, imagine how many we are going to win without them? Only jets can put themselves in cap hell for the next 2 years, get a bunch of 1 year rental future hall of famers and mortgage to the tee and win 5 games.
I agree with this. It's not a "tank" in the classic sense as the team legitimately is starting over almost from scratch at the most important parts. QB, HC, CS, GM. '26 supposedly has the better QB talent so why not draft either a RT or TE and get things setup for '26. Fields knows this is possibly his last chance at being a starter so if he's halfway decent, some team will pick him up once his 2yr deal is over here. In the meantime, our OC gets a year under his belt to learn what works and what doesn't. Likewise with our DC and HC. The worst thing the Jets can do is go "all in" without the foundation to actually make a run at the VLT.
