A lot will depend on the new rookie OC and how his game planning works out. He could be the next Shannahan. He could be the next Hackett. I would have preferred John Morton's return but we got who we got so, hope for the best but expect the worst. Perhaps not to the Hackett level of bad, but not exactly the greatest show on turf either.

Looks like yet another pick that likely had very little probability of hitting their upside that the Jets took too high anyways.

Shame on the organization not throwing him back there to return kicks to ease into the game speed and giving him run at the end of the year. That’s the Rodgers affect though the Jets never give guys like this a chance if they get doghoused early.

It’s almost like we are doing this on purpose in the second rounds. Like nobody can be this bad at this and consistently great at it, except the New Yawk Jets

Jeremy Kerley, Malachi Corley, 5th Round, 2nd Round. It's a song to use in jump rope.

It sure as hell feels like it, doesn't it? That and our inability to foster and grow a rookie QB. You'd think that, over the course of the last 50 years, the team would have gotten it "right" at least one time. But, alas, no.

Quick question... Has the Scouting dept. been updated since MacCagnan fired most of them back in the day? Seems like we're overdue for another housecleaning.

It will come after the draft, that's when you get rid of the scouting dept.

At first glance, I thought that was strange however, these guys have hopefully done their research and are ready to give their recommendations to the new Regime. Hopefully, this is the end of the line for this scouting dept.
