This thread on BS Forum I saw today inspired me for this appreciation thread for our good old byz @abyzmul He was here before almost all of us and since then he has been the memory of Gang Green Forum. He is the posting leader with his 52,976 posts as of now and his record is threatened by our Admin @Cman69 Well, thank you byz for being the soul of this board for man years now. And also keeping us management on our toes all the time. Long live and be the witness of future glory days of Jets that may never come! P.S. For future reference I wanted to put this disclaimer. I started this thread at 10:49 am in Indiana. I am in between meetings working from home. So no I was not drunk when I started this thread.
abyzmul is dull and ordinary. I bet he smells bad also. Waterboy is the true institutional memory of the board, by the way.
I asked byz for advice 15+ years ago when I had the wild idea to build a custom bathroom countertop. Worked out great and still survives to this day. Funny coincidence - I’m doing the same damn thing this weekend. Off to it.
Seems like technology hasn’t advanced enough to make that cheaper and more common. Even if just for walkways. Or, just the end of the driveway, where I swear the plow guy waits until you blow a herniated nut out the ass shoveling the plow heap at the streetline, and then watch as the guy comes by for another pass to pile it up again. No doubt laughing maniacally.
Actually, I kind of chuckle whenever I see the complaint about the plow driver - as if he could make the snow just disappear. At the same time some of those complaining have never even considered putting the snow removed from the driveway apron on the plow's departure side of the driveway rather than its approach where it has no place to go except where their own shoveling has just cleared.
