Hasn't that already happened? Seems like every week I tune in for a football game and all I see are cat videos and videos of someone tripping over their own two feet and falling flat on their face.
I don't think the onus is on everyone else to prove that the guy that just won the Super Bowl in dominant fashion is not much better than a guy that is about to be cut by the Steelers to move on to his third team. I think the situation matters but I don't know that it can account for such a gap.
In regard to the Jets versus the rest of the NFL, IMO is like comparing two different galaxies. Fans here freak out because we let go of AR, knowing well we have no future with him, a less than stellar 2024 where we didn't even sniff the playoffs, on a team frocked with poor performers starting with the CS. A team where a winning culture is foreign to them. Meantime, in KC, after a disappointing SB performance not able to threepeat, God forbid, the masses are asking Andy Reid to step down. I'm LMAO, as we would be building him a new statue bigger that the Statue of Liberty in NY.
Well said! It's like the fans in Pittsburg calling for Tomlin's head. Fuck me, I'd take that guy every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Some fanbases REALLY need to get a freakin' clue. There's almost as much LUCK in getting to and winning a Super Bowl as there is talent behind it. About the ONLY position that can guarantee a SB visit or not, IS the QB. But, beyond that...luck and lots of it.
