Glad to see they are moving on from a move they should never have made - still leaves the Jets in a mess and with no obvious path forward (but then what else is new) I wish the NFL would revisit some of the rule changes it made which resulted in this becoming a two tier league - those with a top tier QB and those without - but there is no a hope in hell that happens (which is a shame as the Jets have never had a franchise QB in the modern era and I can't see that ever changing).

Even with that premise, I’ll say we will play as a team a hell of a lot harder and better this year than we did last year, AR or not. Last year was a poorly coached dysfunctional mess.
Oh yes let's ignore that the defense completely fell off, the field goal kicker couldn't make a field goal, and the head coach was the worst head coach in NFL history.... I hope Rogers and Adams goes to Pittsburgh and win the title next year so this undeserving fan base gets the worst possible outcome. 100% deserved. There is no plan B on QB that will raise the ceiling next season. Everyone wants him gone, but no one can answer what the plan is other then the Jets tanking. Rodgers did not alter the course of the Jets one bit over the past two years. This team and coaching staff was a mess. Let’s not forget that. Now it’s too late. We need to fix this organization right from the ground up. JD left us in cap hell and squandered draft picks. Time to take our lumps this year and start doing it right. We have no choice. A couple of extra wins will not move the needle if we can’t staff it properly. AR needs a win now team that is ready to compete.

The Jets were not the "win-now" team we were told they were. Saleh's crappy head-coaching showed in those last two years and JDs bad moves caught up with the team. Aaron Glenn wants a clean slate without the influence of Aaron Rodgers. I don't blame him.
