If the Super Bowl is Buffalo vs the Eagles I knew I'd have to pick my poison and root against Buffalo. But the thought of that guy getting a Super Bowl is making me question myself

I am happy for Mehki, I was a big believer in him before the draft, but I did not think he would do well as a guard in this league

its amazing what some coaching, a little humilty and a franchise that knows how to do things will do for a guy. he has been pretty damn good this year and adjusted to being a g quite nicely. most of all hes been fairly healthy, which he couldnt do in the mausoleum.

They show his pancake blocks during telecasts.

The question now is will the Eagles re-sign him to a big bucks contract?

They took a flier on him no doubt it was a short deal?

The guy looks like a Larry Allen(?) type now.

Do the Eagles think it's because of their system & coaching or is Becton that good now?

Becton will want to cash in. I think he'd be crazy to leave Philadelphia.

i doubt they will give him tackle money. i bet they give him a fair deal and he would be smart to take it and continue to have success. he probably wont see another contract though so its a tough call. yeah it was a smart flier, i think he was always talented and they are getting the most out of him.

i dont blame him for saying that until forced not to. left tackles make a tremendous amount more money than interior linemen. someone was able to convince him that he would be better off inside, the jets were not and here we are.

Yeah. The Eagles have been one of the top organizations in the sport in all of sports since the turn of the century.

The smart play for Becton is to stay there continue establishing himself as a player. The dude went from bust to dominator just by changing teams and position.

I'm skeptical about if he can continue doing it (see Darnold in Minnesota) but he is a blue chip player and he's still young so it's a tough call. IF he can continue to develop as a force at OG the best chance for that to happen is in Philadelphia.

absolutely agreed. if i were him i would sign there and hopefully continue to stay healthy. it wont be the huge payday guys dream of but it will keep him in a good spot on a good team.
