I would be good with that if the Rams release Stafford and we can get him for cheap. Which is possible as they have an out in his contract. no clue if they want to use it. trading for him and taking on that contract though wouldnt be a good move
I assume by your comments you didn;t seeStafford play last week... he much better then rgers today and IMHO be an upgrade.
As I said in the Aaron Glenn thread... Who still runs this bitch? Woody Johnson, that's who. Which means...I don't give a flying shit WHO the DC and OC are. Johnson will figure out a way to fuck it all up anyway, so why bother speculating?
Carley is the pass game coordinator for MacVay and more than held his own. Big strength with the Rams is their passing schemes.
I always find those titles to be weird. Especially on a team where the head coach designs the offense and calls the plays. What’s the OC do? And what does the passing game coordinator do that the OC and HC don’t already do? I genuinely don’t know.
Fair but at the very least they’re sitting in all the meetings absorbing the game plans and play designs. Mike McDaniel held the run game coordinator title in San Francisco and Slowik was the passing game coordinator.
Stafford would be very good but cheap. He has a pretty hefty cap value with the Rams. Plus they would want picks which is a Nono for us.
With Coen going back on his word to TB and likely going to Jags, he might be interested in Caley as well, since Coen is also McVey guy. Might need to move quickly on that one.
