Some of these names, and the lack of other names, are just head scratching. Johnson hired these 33rd Team bozos and this is the results they've yielded so far?

    Color me unimpressed.

    Caley would be cool.
Sorry but no way on Goff being good with the Rams, he was erratic and a train wreck at times in LA. I should know, watch every one of his games. Whenever the chips were down he failed. McVay knew well he could not go far with him. He has grown leaps and bounds in Detroit, he looks ten times more poised and decisive.

Yeah! Why hasn’t anyone considered Adam Gase? He has Head Coaching experience. He has a great offensive mind, according to Peyton Manning. I mean this guy checks all the boxes. Surprising he hasn’t even been interviewed yet!

Because he is currently employed by the bozos assisting Woody in this so called search, otherwise Woody would of probally hired him as he never learns from past mistakes, I mean I rather have Rex back at this point than fuckn Aaron Glenn as Rex atleast took us to a playoff game with a crap quarterback and has us a great offensive line. Getting Aaron Glenn and repeating the same exact shit all over again you did with Saleh is past demented.

Apparently Glenn turned down our offer. Perhaps Glenn’s greed can save Woody from himself. Seriously, if you advocate for hiring another inexperienced DC please go punch yourself in the face.

I don’t know how to embed links here. Jordan Shultz reported on Twitter a “substantial” offer was made but Glenn wouldn’t sign it. The offer remains.

And you took from that that Glenn turned the Jets down and is greedy?

I think people who share overly emotional speculation as real news should punch themselves in the face

Well about half the posts at this point are guys claiming they’re done with the Jets if X, Y or Z happens and complaining relentlessly about the franchise.

This is very misleading. Here is the link: https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/1881890056874631472

"Sources: Aaron Glenn has landed back in Detroit, via Woody Johnson’s plane. No deal as of now, but sources say a substantial offer was made and the #Jets’ job “is his if he wants it.” Glenn is currently constructing his potential staff, which would ideally include #Lions quarterbacks coach Mark Brunell — if he doesn’t get the OC job in Detroit — who could be in play as the OC for Glenn. I’m also told Glenn wants to bring in a veteran DC who has been a former NFL head coach. Glenn, sources say, is still putting his offensive staff together. Former Jets special teams coach Mike Westhoff could be an option, should he decide to come out of retirement. Glenn is currently scheduled to interview with the #Saints"

No deal as of now, but he is looking to construct staff already. This is no where near "Apparently Glenn turned down our offer". No deal as of last night was the report. No one said he turned it down, in fact he is looking for his staff already. Expect to be done today.

He didn’t accept the offer did he? Or in other words, turned it down. He might sign it later, he might not. But yesterday, he turned down the offer to sign.

Sorry, but not accepting immediately does not mean turning it down either. This is like the Athletic level reporting.

right, it is called sleeping on it. It is extremely common in the business world and it is not greedy.

Saleh did the same thing by the way. If you remember correctly there were reports of an offer, it seemed imminent and took a day or two before it was announced as official. He went home and slept on it

How does that report read as turning it down or being greedy?

Does everyone here fall off their chair when they get a job offer and sign right away?

You can take it any way you like. Bottom line is he hasn’t signed yet. He’s likely headed to NO to hear their offer. Hopefully NO outbids us.
