I expected them to be right here, to make the playoffs and maybe win a game but not go any further. I definitely did not expect them to win as many games as they did in the regular season. The HC and OC were phenomenal. McDermott makes this organization go. He has everyone, from players, to front office, to kitchen cooks, all bought in and pulling in one direction. I can’t say enough good things about him. This team has a bunch of average to above average players, it’s him who makes the difference. Without him we’d look like the bengals, Josh is always going to get his because he’s so good, but the rest of the team would be a disaster.
Aha. With McDermott and Josh you guys will be all set for the next 10 years or so. I will root for the Ravens today as I think they have a better chance of knocking the Chiefs in Kansas City.
When a QB crosses the LOS they should not be allowed the safe slide/flop/etc. They should be subject to the same rules as any ball carrier. If they don't like it than don't run so much. IMO this is one big factor that is ruining the game.
I think they do also, unfortunately. I was looking at the ravens roster today, and not only did they have 9 pro bowlers this year, but 7 of them are arguably top 3 at their position which is insane. Lamar, Henry, ricard, Humphrey, Hamilton, roquan, linderbaum. And that’s not even counting guys like Van noy who had 12 sacks, flowers, Andrew’s, likely, Stanley… it’s wild. Bills don’t have anything like that outside of Allen.
They should also chill out on the “personal fouls” on plays out of bounds. Another thing that should be reviewed with that replay assist bullshit. It’s hard as fuck to pull up when sprinting towards a guy at full speed and then they barely touch him and the guys act like they got hit by a bulldozer to draw the flag like Mahomes did yesterday. There’s a time and place to throw the flag on those.
How did this guy go from bust here to a mauler roadgrader starter on one of the best teams in the league? I see he's playing RG for the Eagles. The Eagles have been one of the best franchises in sports since the start of the century. They know what they're doing. Talent evaluation they're good at it.
Love the snow playoff game. Great theatre. I hope it's snowing in Buffalo. OMG the Rams dodged a major bullet at the end of the first half when Brown dropped that TD pass he should've caught it. Had they given up that TD to make it 20-10 Eagles after Philly began that drive backed up at their goal line that would've been brutal. This game would've had a completely different feel. The Rams are hanging in there I'm very surprised this game is this close. Anyone's ballgame right now. Even if the Eagles find a way to pull this one out the Commanders can win next week is the feeling I'm getting watching this game. The Eagles can be had.
That is the biggest testament at how shitty our coaching has been for the last 2 decades. Look at how many guys that leave the Jets to become successful elsewhere. A lot of us including me are usually focusing on the GM and scouting, but they may not be as bad as we sometimes think, if the talent is there but our coaches don’t know how to use or develop it.
Nahhh…it’s a fun time for WNY I’m a Bills hater, but my boys are all stoked. I’ll root hard for the Bills to win. Would like them to get to the super bowl and then loose again, gotta keep the allure of the Jets 1 championship, be it before I was born. Have fun today you chump
Yeah it's sad. I watch these perennial playoff teams they know what they're doing. It's not luck. It starts at the top. The Rams had Aaron Donald all those years he's gone now but look they still have guys sacking Hurts.
