This guy deserves his own thread. Apparently Woody is dreaming off handing Jets to this incompetent trust fund baby. Let's talk about him in his own thread. I will bump this thread time to time.
He studies Madden ratings, which to be honest feels like more than our scouting staff has been doing. Maybe Brick is exactly what we need……
I have been telling everyone on here for years that Woody Johnson is never selling this team. Never. He may sell a very small portion of his own stake, but that's really it. Plus, no one will ever know if co-owner, Christopher Johnson, is a 50/50 owner, 51/49 Woody, or any combination you can think of. They are that secretive about it. It's a ton more complicated than people think. This team is staying in the Johnson family until a meteor causes our extinction. 'Sell the Team Woody", see how I laugh. He isn't. Ever.
I said the very same thing about the Wilpon's owning the Mets, prayer's can be answered, have hope...
He's a rich kid who is getting too much attention as we Jets fans are excited just to have another possible reason to point to as to why things always go poorly for us. Let's just stop it. I'll say this about Brick: He at least has grown up with football in his life. He's way ahead of his father, and probably also his Uncle in that regard. How much do you think Woody gave a crap at that age? As he gets older and better educated his opinions should improve.
He looks like he's going to live a LOONNNGGGG and healthy life. He'll be running the Jets into the next century. And we get to see the very start of the Louis XIV-esque run. Lucky us.
John Mara is 50/50 with Tisch, I believe. Well, Bernie Maidoff . . . And Steve Cohen (SAC) got shut down. Man, do I have a story about that. The old man watched everyone getting escorted into the street after running cables for trading, haha. Steve Cohen's divorce is probably the best tabloid shit you'll ever read about.
Hi my friend. Your point about not bringing family into this is legit. And I respect privacy of celebrities as much as anyone. But it wasn't us bringing Brick into our lives. Apparently Brick influenced Woody to override Joe D in the the Jerry Jeudy trade discussion. Of course these are rumors but if there is smoke there is fire, right?
Well said. It would be one thing if Brick was out there in front of the media on a semi-regular basis and obviously conducting some of the team's business. But, he's not. Instead, we just have an article from The Athletic, which should always be taken with a dump truck full of salt. And, hell, if the kid's playing Madden, that alone makes him more qualified to make personnel decisions than anyone that currently occupies the Jets' upper management.
That's kind of what I'm saying. Think his daddy was playing the board game "Pay Dirt!" in the 70's? At least he's interested.
If that was actually true. And it might be. But if it is true, it's a Woody F-up not a Brick F-up. Hey Brook, you in Indy yet?
If he's running the show, we just need to tell Brick to turn the Trade Difficulty down to easy and then go out and get Jayden Daniels, Derrick Henry, and Justin Jefferson for a couple of 1st round picks and we're all set.
Agreed my friend. It is his father's fault. Woody is a dumb fuck. Too bad he will give control of this team to Brick hence the thread. Yes sir in Indy. People here are extremely nice and I am not used to this kind of niceness. I live in downtown Indy at corporate housing and will move to suburbs in 2 weeks. Downtown Indy is as dead as they come. Barely a few people crowding the streets. Overall very impressed with Indy people but city is very quiet which will take some adjustments on my side.
