Peeps. Is it worth to drive 7 hours from Indy to Kansas City for the Texans-Chiefs play off game? Game is on Saturday 4:30 pm. My plan is to leave Saturday morning then watch the game and stay the night in Kansas City and drive back Sunday morning. Never been to a playoff game before and I want to experience it really. Please chime in especially if you are familiar with St Louis and Kansas City areas.
Your time is something only you can value as to if it’s worth it to spend it to go do something. I bet the environment is going to be awesome though. How would it not be? Playoff games at Arrowhead look wild on TV.
Hey @Brook! Why not Detroit instead of KC? It’s only 4.5 hrs drive instead of 7, you get to stay warm in a dome and that atmosphere will be incredible
I got nothing but time in my hands JV. Yeah I want to enjoy the tailgate so maybe I will drive Friday night.
I think I’m with Nagle though. You’ll save some gas and tolls going to Detroit even though the ticket will still be more. You also probably get an equal or better environment and you won’t freeze your fucking ass off. I’ve turned into a bitch about the cold though since I’ve gotten older though lol. Plus you can actually root for a team that’s enjoyable.
That's what I was about to say. I'd pay the difference to watch the Lions play real football versus the peacock Chiefs getting all the calls like Lebron.
